We stayed in this hotel from February 10 to 17 and how can I say the hotel is great!!The breakfasts are enormous and perfect for long days of walking, the incredible bedding for a good restful night's sleep, attentive staff... always a smile!! And a huge thank you to Chafik who helped us enormously with our return shuttle to the airport (he speaks French really well and that’s really a plus!)In short, an unforgettable trip!

Great hotel with lovely clean rooms. Had one small issue with people in neighbouring room being extremely noisy but a room swap was sorted and arranged very promptly. Allowed me to leave my bags with the staff after check out until my flight. All of the staff are lovely.Would definitely stay again!

The Westgate Grand Central has an ideal location in New York. Thanks to the proximity to Central Station, transportation to Newark Airport was not a problem. We also often used the nearby Grand Central metro station as a starting point for excursion destinations. Those who like to explore the city while running will find 5th Avenue, Bryant Park and Times Square within walking distance. The rooms in the hotel are small and noisy. But you have to be prepared for that in New York if you don't want to spend a fortune. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. “Breakfast” includes a lunch bag that has the same contents every day. More variety and waste avoidance would be desirable here. The staff was friendly, especially Ronil at the bar. He was clearly passionate about his job and enjoyed getting to know the guests.

We stayed for a week and were satisfied with the service, the rooms, the welcome... To improve, the breakfast offered in a box.

We liked the location of the hotel. It was a cozy room. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the pillows weren’t great either. We could never get the thermostat set to the right temperature…not sure that was hotel’s fault though.

Wow. Wow. Wow. It's been a while since I've been this impressed with a hotel like Westgate New York Grand Central. The interior common spaces including the lobby, quick take-out store, and the bar downstairs are all beautiful. The rooms are a pretty decent size and the bed is very comfortable. If I could shout from the rooftops my approval of this hotel, I would.

Very nice hotel, well located and clean. However, we paid a $100 deposit upon arrival, which has still not been refunded (we left the hotel 2 weeks ago, this deposit had to be returned within 1 week...).

An incredible experience!Already despite the shortage of cleaning staff our room was cleaned every day.The staff are incredibly kind and know how to provide us with information/help when needed. The rooms are super comfortable, of course we didn't have a view of anything but that doesn't matter.Located 20 minutes from Time Square, it provides good accessibility to activities.

Very good hotel close to Grand Central. The room service is discreet and of very good quality. The staff is very welcoming and attentive.Rooms: We had a king size suite and the bedding is very good, bathroom really clean. Very large TV, free and functional wifi.Nearby activities: All of Manhattan is available to us as we leave the hotel. Time Square, Central Park, Rockefeller, Empire state Building etc...Walkability: Line 7 really close and otherwise Grand Central and really 2 streets away.

Very charming historic hotel in a great location mid-town, with lots of restaurants and shopping. Two blocks up from Grand Central, easy walk to all the sights. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Preferable to mid-town west area (Times Square, which is very noisy and seedy, in my opinion). Rooms were very nice, if a bit small, clean and comfortable. No restaurant on site, but plenty of restaurants in the area. Very nice bar and seating area. We brought our own breakfast stuff and ate there every morning. Our last night we got some pizzas and ate in the bar area. It was perfect. Staff were all very friendly.
