Looking for a neighborhood pharmacy and I had high hopes for this place. Seems like it would be cool to support a local pharmacy that was not a big chain. After waiting on a very long hold for the pharmacist to ask him a question, he just kept asking me who I was, and wouldn't give me a chance to talk, and then he hung up the phone on me. It was very strange and rude. Super disappointed.

It’s a very small drugstore. It is also an unfriendly drugstore. Most recently, the staff has taken to distrusting long-term customers. They peek around the corner when you’re looking at products to see if you might be stealing them. Who wants to be followed with suspicion? They do tend to fill prescriptions quickly when asked. Sometimes, however, the pills are half pills or have parts missing.. They also sometimes send the wrong prescription to peoples homes.. It’s nice to try to support a local pharmacy but the pharmacy should try to support its customers and not treating them as potential shoplifters.

Brutal, odd and sometimes useful is the best way to describe this place. It's out of the 1950s, everything feels 1000 years old. And don't ask a question, you will be snapped at. But if you need crutches, they have some. Can't say I've bought much here but weirdly keep going back to be told off about the medical supplies I'm looking for.

Old School friendly neighborhood pharmacy. So much better than the National chains. Hard to find in these times

Thankful for this little place and that it has made it through the pandemic even while local CVS has closed.

It’s a shame. I really wanted to like this place and support a small local pharmacy instead of the big chains, but the Pharmacist left me with no other choice.I have been coming here for months since I moved to the area, and I get very good benefits through my job, which includes a great prescription drug program. One of my medications which I need is a bit pricey, and my insurance makes it extremely cheap for me. I went today to pick up my refills, and the price for my meds was over 6X higher. When I asked about my Rx program, the pharmacist straight up told me “to be frank” that the price is too low for him, and that he’s losing money for what he normally could charge for that medication. And he’s just going to refuse to use my benefits for now on. Then he told me to go to another pharmacy.A part of me appreciates the blunt honesty, but that’s awful customer service. The pharmacist doesn’t care about the customers or loyalty. He only cares about profit. He flat out told me to get a new pharmacy just because he wasn’t making enough money from me.

One of my medications which I need is a bit pricey, and my insurance makes it extremely cheap for me. I went today to pick up my refills, and the price for my meds was 7X higher. When I asked about my Rx program, the pharmacist straight up told me "to be frank" that the price is too low for him, and that he's losing money for what he normally could charge for that medication. Well now I'm going to get a new pharmacy, and he'll be making even less money from me ($0). I don't understand how he can run a business like that???

I would call this place, a charmingly grumpy pharmacy. There's a lot of character here. And they have surprisingly good versions of all of the things they carry. It feels like a slice of New York, and it definitely feels good to be supporting what is obviously a small business. My one small occasional gripe is that you need to be very specific when ordering your medication is otherwise you might get the wrong thing refilled.

BEWARE: Horrible, sloppy, and extremely careless Pharmacist. Found out they had been overcharging on prescriptions for years and NOT submitting thousands of dollars of receipts to the Insurance Company. Check all paperwork with this place or you could easily be the next victim!!!!

I live nearby and I would never use another pharmacy (unless I was out of town) the people are lovely, stellar customer service and they have everything I could ever need. I have even seen big movie stars in there regularly! The beautiful international soap and candles and more make for wonderful gifts. They deliver and are always prompt and super friendly!

Simply the best pharmacy in NYC! Friendly, caring and treats clientele like family! I love everyone there. Carlos is so caring and thoughtful as is Marie. Christine who curates all the beautiful goods is charming and lovely to everyone and engages everyone personally! Whitney is your old fashioned local chemists you grew up with in NYC. It is ABSOLUTELY NOT a big cold chain store who's business is to put all the small special places out of business. The big chains might have well stocked shelves, but with stocked with the "expected" -nothing special and certainly couldn't care less about "you" because the barcode reading machines do not say "how are you feeling?" And if Whitney doesn't have "it" in the store, they will make a call and have it for you next day. They have me for life!

Terrible customer service. Horribly organized and not modern with filling prescriptions. The pharmacist is rude and bitter. I’ll never go back.
