I have been going to this location for over 5 years and have always teetered on writing a review, but I’ve now felt the need to share my experience. Since the pandemic, this location has been on a steady decline. The once-fresh pork chops are grey and the fish now looks like you’re buying something in Nebraska, not from a coastal city that should get shipments in nearly daily (for the price, you’d expect the quality to be much better). Items are frequently out of stock and the store dirty. The thing that tipped me to write my review is that the machine to grind the fresh almond butter has been out of service for SIX MONTHS. First-world problems, I realize, but this is utterly ridiculous. Clearly management has given up on this tired, sad location.

Service keeps declining- cashiers used to be friendly and would bag you stuff. Now they don’t do either.

Brand new store. Smaller than most but convenient for Jersey City - Newport area residents. In building parking, free for an adequate interval. Produce section small but replenished often. Good prepared foods selection. Smaller choices of canned and other items due to space constraints. Good store for necessities, larger venues such as Weehawken or suburban locations still essential for more esoteric items.

Honestly always a pleasant time to stop by and grab a quick bite to eat, whether I’m on my way home or going to the office. Maria (catering supervisor) but also runs the kitchen with a warm, welcoming and literally catering to us in the most splendid way. I also want to shout out, the chef, I believe his name is Tserin, wow honestly he knows how to cook, when I say cook, I mean I’m a firm believer he can put his foot in the food if you know what I mean ? or as in my country they would say “Se dejo caer la greña” which translates to (he let his hair down)! It’s wonderful thank you for everything.

Many products are good quality, a little bit confusing where to find the section of pasta.

Whole Foods is a store that I couldn't wait to open in my neighborhood. I've also enjoyed the other locations in Manhattan because the service and selection is consistent. This location is not far from where I go to the doctor so I visit some days. I admit I have been upset with them for no longer selling Bread Alone brand bread. I still buy many items especially the store brand 365. When I'm in a crunch I buy the peanut butter and almond butter. I often buy flowers for my daughter and friends. They have magazines, greeting cards, seasonal items and more. Naturally I enjoy pastries. The small ones are perfect for me or as a treat for my daughter. If you live in the neighborhood of this location I am sure you have shopped here. I've rarely had a problem and when I do their customer service counter more than pleased me when resolving the issue.

Sub par Whole Foods. Fish section was terrible.. also smells so bad there.. unlike wegmans it doesn’t smell at all! I got sea bass and there were so many scales left on the fish. Which was brutal when I opened it at home and tried taking those scales off myself .. it’s very hard to do

It's great they have Amazon returns. It's on the second floor. There is also a cafe there where you can sit, relax, and work. The store is large and they have a good selection of flowers. Prices are a bit high, which is usually for a Whole Foods though. Lines can be long, but they go relatively quickly.
