I grew up in washington heights and I would love to know what year this place opened? I would pass it a lot and never think to go inside. It's a good quality book store. There's a small section of manga. I love that my community has access to books!

So many great literary sections. Looks like a real community hub with local authors, free Covid tests, a community fridge outside, and many other resources. Such a pleasure to have in the neighborhood

Attended an event with local singers and songwriters. Was very well done but the AC was not working. (It was needed!!) It's great to be in a bookstore again.

I did an online order, my first ever purchase at this store. I decided to pick up my book, because I wanted save on delivery charges, plus it was only a 15 min ride by car from my home in the Bronx.I'm glad I chose to do so, because it's a quaint little bookstore that took me back to do good old days...From the moment I stepped foot into the store I was greeted and attended to right away by a very friendly employee.I decided to take a look around because I was in such awe over the vintage feeling of the place.Along the way I met the friendly neighborhood Spiderman and bought my son a comic book. Will be taking a trip back, but next time I will be taking my kids with me..Would highly recommend!!!

This bookstore is the secret heart of Washington Heights. Great service, and selection, and mood. Really cute too, and hosts wonderful events. Buy you books here, not from Amazon! I have seen such beautiful acts of kindness in this bookstore, it gives me hope for the human race.
