We were referred to Worth Street by a friend when our French Bulldog Ralph came down with a nasty bug that wasn't going away - we didn't have a vet in town as we spend half the year in a different state and that's where he's had all his shots, etc to date.We knew it wouldn't be cheap (any business in Taylor Swift's neighborhood is going to be on the ritzier side) so were prepared for that. The care was EXCEPTIONAL and Ralph left that day already feeling better. Would recommend the team to anyone in need of support for their animal.

Many small but significant negative interactions really put me off this vet.I travel a lot with my dog and needed a vet that is on point with the paperwork necessary for various destinations , and at Worth Street they boast that they have people specifically for this and reassure you that they know what they are doing etc. as is their job. I cannot even begin to write and detail all the errors and mistakes they made with my paperwork - lots of small things that matter a lot when traveling abroad. I don’t even know or remember the amount of times I had to call or email to remind them of things , and fix this or that. And in the end, all that drama aside - they still made a final and crucial mistake when they submitted my certificate (9 days before travel as it cannot be more than 10) and needed to resubmit , but it was like 4:30pm Friday (6 days before travel) that they told me before they resubmit I need to come in and sign something. The “expert” who had made this mistake had just left the office (early that day) and the receptionist who I spoke to knew very little. Nobody offered to stay 30 minutes extra after work so that I can rush over and sign , despite the fact that it was their mistake, and with a very laissez faire attitude they told me I can come in Tuesday morning and do it then as Monday was a public holiday. My flight was on Thursday and they told me that they cannot guarantee I’d get the certificate back on Wednesday, but that they can add a note for it to be rushed. This made the few days before traveling super stressful. My certificate having been submitted 2 days before travel instead of the usual 10 and a lot of back and forth and inconvenience. The certificate ended up arriving late Wednesday afternoon, but when I had called that morning there were problems with the delivery and the woman who was in charge of all this, (including the mistakes) Arryn I believe, again all laissez faire told me she doesn’t have time to try reach FedEx(she had tried once), so she expected me to sit on the phone with them after all this chaos was due to her not knowing what was necessary for the country I was traveling to.This is all made worse by the fact that after already making a million mistakes I went to the front desk and tried to remind them of certain points and the guy was strongly all like “don’t worry , we have people here whose job it is to just do this. They’ve got you.” Then those exact things I specifically mentioned were wrong and I had to call to have them corrected. It was like I was on the moon with these people! So ….then I get to my country of destination and find that the sticker of the rabies injection Mili had gotten had a totally different number to the one they wrote on the certificate. (I had asked for the sticker from the little bottle to be put into his European passport even though this isn’t the norm in America. I don’t know if they lost the bottle Mili had and just gave me another random sticker , or if the number they wrote on his certificate was incorrect. It’s really nothing malicious on their part , but there is a very clear lack of attention to detail and personalized care and heart that I expect from my vet, and that leads to something that looks quite professional on the outside , but feels very unprofessional and stressful on the inside.I’m still looking for the perfect wonderful vet care in NYC if anyone has any recommendations.

I adopted Joey from Animal Haven. I am more than pleased by Worth Street Vet practice. However, it is a bit expensive for me now. I recommend them 100% though. It is just expensive for regular people like me who is just a public teacher ?

Wonderful and caring staff. They always take great care of my dog Lola. Lola had dental surgery last week and the staff took great care pre and post surgery.

They explained everything very clearly, provided aftercare instructions, and even treated an issue we didn't think to mention. Ethan was great with our kitty and had a warm bedside manner.

Our last visit with Dr. Sarah Schoenhut was wonderful. Our dog is very anxious and she took her time to make him feel comfortable and relaxed. She was so thorough with all of our questions and concerns — never making us feel rushed. I left feeling much more confident in our plans for our dog's medication, food, and routines. Thank you Worth Street!

Most helpful, kindest, best vets around!! I started bringing all of my pets to Worth St Vets a few years ago after having poor experiences at a nearby vet, and it’s been only amazing experiences since! Truly wonderful people work here

Overcharges for services and then denies a refill of a basic tick and flee medication. Shows you their priorities.

They’re all nice but I don’t think I’ll use them going forward. The overcharge for EVERYTHING. Like 2-3x the average cost. I got tapeworm treatment for my medium size dog they charged 54$ my dog gets the treatment all the time to go to the UK I’ve never paid anything over 20$ for it. It’s a technician visit no doctor just a pill. For heart worm medication they’re charging 70-100 more than online. It’s actually unbelievable lol.

Top-notch care and super friendly staff. I love how the vet always follows up to see how my dog is doing. Appointments are also fairly easy to get. If I had to be picky, I wish they had better A/C / ventilation.
