The line to return an item was 40 people long and 1 cashier !!! The manager said there is nothing that can be done ....avoid this store , it's a disaster !!

Customer service is lacking here. Everything takes forever here so make sure you have lots of time to spare.When you try on clothes, expect very long likes for the fitting room. The lady working at the fitting room will not accept any clothes not hung on a hanger. You must hang everything that you don't want back on to the hanger for her.When you decide to buy clothes, there is always a long line at the cashier. One line is for purchasing clothes, the other is for returning clothes.I like the clothes here, it's a pity the shopping experience is never delightful.

awful client service. Men's floor fitting room was closed and when I was trying some pullovers and jackets over my t-shirt they sent security to tell me that I had to go two floors down to try the clothes. Ridiculoy approach. I ended up leaving everything there and they easily lost 500.00 in sales. Even worse the security followed me around the store as if I was a thieve. Really embarrassing after I had bought almost 1000.00 in clothes for my wife.Shame on the store manager. This happened on Jan 29th 2023 at around 2pm. Store located at 500 Fifth avenue. Please check the shift for the security and management. very unhappy client!

Wow! I loved the experience of going to this Zara store, it's kind of convenience, because it has 3 floor, so you can buy what are you looking for.

I try to avoid this Zara whenever possible if I can. Every time I've been to this location, it's always messy and unorganized. Clothes falling off hangers, signs toppled over, and items all over the shelves. The few times I have gone and actually asked for help, either for an item or needed something at the registers the waits are ridiculous. It takes the managers forever to come up to the registers and for the associates to come from the back with anything asked for. Don't bother coming in here in a rush, a 5 minute trip will take you an extra 30 here waiting on them.

No complaints here. I was looking for a Zara in NYC where I could get a pair of their shoes. I've heard great things about their shoes. This location was really nice. Great selection of shoes, and of course clothes. There wasn't a shoe section, however, they were just spread out throughout the store- which wasn't really a problem.

Zara at the corner of 6th and 42 is a great place to pick up some clothes at a reasonable price and stylish. I like their current winter men’s collection. Very well organized and clean.

customer service at the zara in 5th and 42nd street was the worst I had the worst experience today with the manager... there were 5 pairs of kids boots marked with the pink sticker shpwing they were 40% off and when I went to pay the manager told me they were regular price I told her they all had the sricker on it for 40% off. She told me in a rude way that she cannot sale the boots with the 40 % off, and as a fact she didnt believe me and ask me to go with her and show her the other boots with the pink sticker, she saw them and still told me sorry I cannot give you for 40% off all this super rude.

Employees are not well trained and do not know where to direct costumers to when it comes to online pickups. One kid said upstairs another said first floor then gif told to go back to the middle floor wasted 30 min of my time. Terrible understanding of their own operations

Horrible. I bought a jean but they forget to take off the alarm! When the alarm ringed in the store, the security guy told me np go, then i realized they forget the alarm. After day I went there and realized there is no jean in the receipt, cashier show it as a t-shirt! Then they look at me as like i am thief or i am saying lie even they see my receipt and the other things that i bought. I had be break my politeness for taking off the alarm. After that, I realized they also showed the shirt I bought as another, which was $20 more. I really dont believe how can they be that much clumsy…

After years of ignoring Zara, I now recognize that I like their styles and that it is very reasonably priced. This is in a great location with a good variety of clothes.

By far the worst location. This is the second time they closed the fitting room early. Meanwhile customers are walking around collecting clothing expecting to try it on and they can’t. The first time this happened occurred it was 20 mins before but this time, it was an entire half hour before closing at 8:30. At 8:28 or so I saw the fitting room open I turned around to grab a size by 8:30 they closed it and I was forced to put my pile of potential purchases back. And on top of it the staff is rude about it. At other locations like flatiron the fitting room is available until closing so I know this isn’t a Zara mandated thing and more so this particular location.

was in this store, a tall African-American employee said that she would change my jacket for another in 15 minutes. the jacket was dirty. I ended up waiting 40 minutes while she had lunch. disgusting. things are always dirty. after 50 minutes of waiting she brought me the wrong size. I called the manager but no one came I do not recommend the store

I generally don't shop at Zara that often but I saw this really cute jacket for my soon to be 1 year old that I wanted to get for her birthday. They use a company called TForce to ship their online orders and if Zara is going to take advice from any customer, PLEASE stop using them! I'll never put in an online order again because of the experience I just had with them.

I could talk all day about Zara as a brand but this review is specifically about this location. The stock is inaccurate to what online says, employees are short with you, or lackluster about taking care of customers and the store. There is no logical organization to the store layout or where clothes are placed. The dressing rooms are an absolute joke. Even if I loved the clothes I'd be reminded to buy them from this particular location.
