“We have been going to West End since 2020 when my ferret Luna was diagnosed with adrenal disease, they took her condition seriously and did everything they could to assist Luna and us throughout the process. Dr. Santiago and her staff have always treated us and my ferret like family with the best care possible, and later my two french bulldogs we brought into the family. They always answered all of our questions and always got into contact with us to check up on Luna's condition after a procedure was done. I would not trust any other facility with my fur babies, West End truly cares about you and your pets.”

“Yesterday we had an establish care appt here for our newly adopted shelter puppy and had an amazing experience. We were nervous going into it, not knowing how our dog would respond, but Dr. Morris and the assistants were all super patient and accommodating to Della. They got down on the floor with her, fed her lots of treats and slowly let her warm up to them and the situation, not forcing anything. Della was thrilled :) They even walked her around the office to meet everyone for some positive people interaction. Dr. Morris answered all of our questions and gave us lots of options in her answers, with no judgement. Would highly recommend!”

“I absolutely love this veterinary hospital, the hours are great, they always have great exotic vets on staff, and the receptionists are always helpful and accommodating. I am a frequent flyer here due to my 4 year old rabbit’s dental disease that unfortunately is terminal. I was heartbroken because my rabbit is healthy and happy besides her teeth, Dr. Steinbeiser is her vet and she is phenomenal! She has gone above and beyond to combat my rabbits dental disease and we came up with a treatment plan that has so far given back my rabbit her quality of life. Her pain is managed and she’s on all solids foods! Yes I spend a TON of money doing this but she’s dependent on me for her care and I cherish her like my child. Overall I am forever grateful for Dr. Steinbeiser and her incredible care and all of the staff here.”

The practice prices are significantly more competitive than the vet in Beacon- I was shocked by how different the exact same tests and procedures and medicines cost here compared to Beacon. They do a great job of helping you understand what is critical/vital and what is “extra” and maybe could wait. They don’t just throw the book of tests at you and then hit you with a giant bill. It’s a thorough discussion between owner and the vet team. I never feel pressured or rushed. I appreciate that so much.Finally, the ease of reaching the office, scheduling an appointment, and the commitment to care even after hours is remarkable. I feel like I am family or close friends at this practice. They treat all of their patients like this. I don’t know how they do it, but they make you feel each and every pet is their top priority.”

“I reached out via pet chat, a vet tech informed the vet of my senior cat’s health emergency and called me within a few hours to ask about my pet. They told me I could bring my cat in immediately. They discovered his illness which was an abscesses tooth, provided antibiotic, and explained the next course of treatment.
