“An old school, family owned hardware store still run by the original family to my understanding. I feel like there aren't many of these around any more and I'm glad to have Grimble's in Lockport!I had to get two keys made and get some screws for a dresser. The staff was very friendly and was able to give me exactly what I needed. The keys worked perfectly. I have had keys made here before and they were also perfect; I've had to take keys made at Home Depot back for not working properly on more than one occasion. I highly recommend Grimble's for your hardware store needs!”

“Such a helpful group of people! While biking on the canal bike path, I got a flat and was without an extra tube, pump, and only my credit card. The women inside helped me find the tubes and bike pumps. As soon as I got outside and tried fixing it, a gentleman with an ACE vest on said to me, "Give me that!" He took it and tried fixing it - unfortunately, still wrong tube, wrong pump. He told me to return both items and he would have someone pull up the truck and take me to my house or car or wherever I needed to go! How awesome! Saved me from having to walk five miles and taught me two lessons - 1. Don't forget my tube and pump 2. There really are nice people in this world!Thank you to the ACE hardware crew!”

“I've been going to this hardware store my whole life so over 40yrs. They have all the little things you need. When something breaks that's where is go. 9.5 times out of 10 they have what I need & at a good price.
Plus they're great at returns, if you got the wrong stuff or got more then you needed. No problem just always keep that receipt handy.”
