This is such an amazing place to stay! My boyfriend and I came here for our annual “ghost hunt”. We were taken aback by how beautiful the house was. The owners, Bill and Marnie, were so welcoming and accommodating. We ended up enjoying our stay for much more than paranormal purposes, although we do feel like we got some good evidence! It was lovely to get to go in and feed the goats, and to spend some time with the 3 Great Pyrenees dogs. This is definitely somewhere we plan on coming back to!

This place was awesome! It was our first time here and we had such a wonderful time. The house itself is so unique and adorable. The bedroom was cute. Bed was comfortable. Try the homemade cinnamon buns! You won't regret it! The owners are super friendly, kind and welcoming. I enjoyed chatting with them. I highly recommend staying here!

What an experience. Not only were we greeted by goats and beautiful dogs but Marnie and Bill were the kindest and most welcoming couple I have ever met. You instantly felt comfortable and welcome when you walked in the door. They treated us like family. The ghostly encounters we had were remarkable and most interesting. I highly recommend visiting if not for a ghost adventure but to relax and enjoy the history of this Inn. Will definitely be returning sooner than later.Rooms: Comfortable and homey.

Marnie and Bill are just the most AWESOME people! The animals were adorable (I'm in love with Larry, the cat) and the Fainting room was absolutely beautiful! My boyfriend had the best time looking for ghosts with the other guests. We will definitely be back! Thank you guys so much for your hospitality! ❤️❤️❤️

We happened to be touring in the area and saw this lovely little inn. Looked it up on Google and heard about the amazing animals and guests stay there. We considered coming up next weekend and booking with our granddaughter so we went by the place to take a look. We were chased off by the most rude and obnoxious man that I've ever encountered. We're told that we had no right to be on the property and we're trespassing if we hadn't previously booked a room. They have no posted signs saying not to go on the property, which is a public business. What a way to chase off people who intended to be guests. I expected much more of a welcoming and hospitable attitude from someone who was supposed to be professional and should be encouraging people to want to stay there.***Edited to add, that I was extremely apologetic when he came out and was trying to explain to him that we were looking because we were considering to be guests, but he wouldn't even give me a chance to speak. And the more I apologized, it seemed like the more infuriated he got.

We went there for our 34th wedding anniversary over Labor Day weekend. The Inn, the area, the hosts, the animals, and the "oddities" we heard through the night did not disappoint!! Marni and Bill want nothing more than for you to enjoy their magnificent home that sits right on the river. We went to Glen Park Vineyard for a wine tasting and the most amazing charcuterie board and then in the evening to MJ pub and grill for a great burger and feta fries. We will definitely be going back!

What a great, historic, interesting, place,,, run by good, olde fashion, Country, Citizens. Providentially found this place while searching a phn map. Soooo glad we did... the road gets a little busy n noisy at times, but the location was perfect for us, as we were traveling I-86,/ I-17 the southern Tier n then I-81. --Lots of animals a Scenery to enjoy!Rooms: Lots of neat material that accents the house n history.Noteworthy details: Every room has that early 1900 ambience.

We came for the goats and the ghost hunting and discovered so much more to love about this place. The house is beautiful. Lots of antique furniture and artwork. We met the famous Larry the Cat! He showed us to our room in the Fainting Room. He hung out with us and we called him our tour guide. There are journals in each room where guests write about their experiences and we spent lots of time reading each experience. One group in particular called themselves witches and left a satanic spell in the journal which really scared the heck out of us! Bill and Marnie were wonderful hosts! So inviting and very easy to talk to we really enjoyed our time with them learning about the house, past guest experiences, and local history. In all of our travels I can confidently say Bill and Marnie have been the best hosts we have ever had! We also got to try their world famous cinnamon rolls! Holy cow I could just eat the dough plain it was so good! The ghost experience was really funny. We used the Estes method to communicate. We were getting responses in the Fainting Room. It didn't identify itself. But it told us it didn't want to talk to us and it demanded that we bring Larry back into the room. Apparently the spirits really love Larry and wouldn't talk to us unless he was with us. We got the word "Satan" that came through in the room where the witches wrote their spell which I thought was a weird coincidence. We had doors close on their own. And my poor wife is a light sleeper and kept hearing knocks, taps and squeaks all night. I slept like a baby in their amazingly comfortable bed. The mattress and bedding was so soft! I toss and turn when I'm in my own bed, here I fell asleep at the drop of a hat. We got to feed the goats in the morning. Miles lived up to his reputation lol. He kept pushing the other goats out to steal all of our crackers. We really loved our experience and cannot wait to come back. We hear the summer is an awesome time to come out to check out the island and cross the stream in the back. There are ducks, geese, and even Bald eagles!

I just spent the night this weekend with my family and closest friends to celebrate my birthday. The inn was beautifully decorated with antiques and everything was so clean! Marnie & Bill were wonderful hosts, welcoming, easy to talk to. And the paranormal activity was one for the books! We had the best time and all we keep talking about is booking again!!

All accommodations were clean and immaculate. The grounds were very beautiful and even though there was a drought, we still had colorful gardens. All the antiques were beautiful Victorian era pieces. As soon as we arrived, Marnie made us feel right at home welcoming us with open arms. Larry, the house cat, was very friendly. On our second night we did a ghost hunt with Bill and Marnie and the rest of the guests… very exciting.Thank you again, Bill and Marnie, for a wonderful relaxing stay. We look forward to returning for a visit in the fall.Patricia and AnthonyMilford, PA

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay on October 31 2022. We had some spooky experiences (which I was hoping for). The owners were great! They told us some experiences others have had. The rooms are beautiful. The cinnamon rolls were fantastic. We will return again. ☺️

I have read and discussed wanting to stay here and I was not disappointed. Both owners are so friendly and welcoming. The second I walked I was given a tour of all the rooms, history, and some ghost stories. The room I stayed in was comfortable and overall I slept well. When it comes to paranormal activity I had a small amount of activity. Heard a male talking in the hallway as well as a small orb floating in and out of a hallway to another room. Paranormal activity does not happen all the time so if your looking for it you will have to wait and see.Was only there one night but I will definitely come back again in spring or summer.
