“This review is long overdue. We used Number 1 Auto Transport to transport 2 cars from NJ to FL about 18 mos ago, and they were excellent. We called a handful of companies, and most inspired zero confidence - they were either slick salespeople or downright shady. I never spoke to the same person twice. Number 1, on the other hand, really was #1! Brian was terrific - he was straightforward and always accessible, explaining everything clearly so there were no surprises. He addressed all of our concerns without any doubletalk and communication was excellent every step of the way. We really appreciated him/his team being able to accommodate us during a very busy season with very short notice. Managing an out-of-state move can be very stressful but Brian made sure our car transport was seamless!”

“I had to return a desk and chair to Amazon. I came from the ups store where the guys are always so nasty. They told me they didn’t have big enough boxes for me and that I had to go to Home Depot to buy them. (I saw big boxes) I said let me try the south shore mailroom and shipping center. Even though they don’t take QR codes, Donna and Melissa did everything they can, multiple prints to try and get a label which they did! They also did everything they can to fit my desk and chair in the boxes and were very generous with them ? thank you guys so much for your help I will always go there for my big returns and always feel so welcomed there.”

“Ok…so I live literally a 5 min walk to the Long Beach UPS….BUT that being said, I have NEVER been in Long Beach without them trying to scam me into buying a box for a delivery that does not need a box! The staff at Long Beach is very nice but they say the owner is the one who tries to scam people!

“I typically visit the lindenhurst ups store location, which I am not a fan of. The woman who is usually there is nasty and always yelling. At this location i was greeted warmly by a young lady and a young gentleman who helped me make my return and send my package out. I didn’t get their names, the one was a young gentleman with brown hair and the young lady had black hair and glasses. Thank you to both of them for making my experience here welcoming. “Mr. Craig is excellent! He helped carry my packages in from the car, boxed and taped everything up with care. My mom(who’s known him for at least 10 years) has also sent me several packages using Mr. Craig and everything always came how it left the store. He is very honest and does not cheat the customer. When I am back home I will never use the Post Office or UPS again to ship. I will say he does not have a barcode scanner, you have to come with a label or a label on the package.”

“I accidentally returned an Amazon item here using the wrong QR code. 10 minutes later, I went back and told them and the lady at the register went to the back room for 5 minutes and found my package that I had originally brought. I was very impressed with the dedication she took to find it. She came out with the package and scanned the correct QR code I had and I was correctly issued my refund. I really appreciate how helpful and nice she was as this was top tier customer service.”

“The workers at this post office are very nice people and they always try their best, however I run a local business and depend on my mail in a timely fashion per the app. When I lived in Seaford, the app was 99.9% accurate and my checks always came. At North Bellmore, they are always understaffed and worse on holiday weeks. There needs to be better staffing by management, so PO Box owners can get mail in a timely fashion. This is an organization that should be more on top of things. The public depends on this. When the economy is tight like now, timeliness matters more. I’d love to see mail put in the boxes quicker so we don’t have to wait days extra. If the app was 99.9% on time in Seaford that SHOULD translate to all towns locally.”
