“We had such a great experience coming to the Solow Sports at the National Tennis Center. I can't even begin to explain how great and the complete opposite experience we had coming here than what we endured at the two Wilson stores. Growing up playing tennis in NYC, I always encounter not enough information gets funneled out or people wanting to share resources. So this right here is for all my first timers. Allow me to give you all necessary information so you don't get deterred. By car, you would have to go to parking B, usually closest to the train and you know you're on the right path. By train, it's literally down the platform and walk towards the Chase building towards the right of the box office window. There's a small gate where you would enter the Chase building, pass the front desk, into a small lounge and you would find the store. First, they rarely pick up their phones. It's a small shop, and understand why they probably won't. They are constantly assisting passerby customers or stringing racquets. This place is interesting because they allowed us, or rather insist on borrowing a racquet before our play time to get a feel before purchasing. I was really thrown off by the practice but I must admit, an extremely effective one!! I was really stunned because the gentleman even showed me the drop box to return the racquet if the store is closed. . We ended purchasing the racquet with more confidence knowing we got to try it for the weekend. I can't recommend this no frill place enough. The experience I had from the Wilson store to this was like night and day. Non pretentious, experts giving you honest advice based on your needs. The store was filled with everything you need. They even sell 17" racquets. I never seen those in person at a store. Really decent prices, great lounge for your waiting needs and a fabulous view to one of the best venue in Queens.”

“Stopped at the 5th Avenue NYC store a couple of days before Christmas. It was almost midday and it was crowded. Sales representative "Rosie" assisted me in getting a present for my wife. She was friendly and knowledgeable. I visited all the floors and found all reps were friendly and helpful. There was still a lot of different items on sale which helped me save some money. The line for the cashiers was slightly long but moved quickly. Great shop experience!”

“I ordered 2 pairs of sneakers. One were for a special event. I paid $40 for express shipping to arrive at least a week before the event. The shoes ended up coming within the "free shipping" window but it is the holidays. The shoes arrived and the pair I needed was wrong. I contacted customer service and was fortunate enough to have Marianne assist me! While I was frustrated as it's a difficult time in life, she remained professional, courtesy and apologetic at all times regardless of my frustrations! While I was not able to find the shoes in time, She got the correct shoes sent out and also sent a good faith gesture for my troubles! She single handily changed my view on the company and turned a grumpy customer happy again! Thank you Marianne and I look forward to purchasing again in the near future!”

“Came in to do a “swap out” of my almost 10-year-old Down Sweater, Kpacu downstairs explained to me how the process works and I was just blown away by how easy it is to swap out gear like this— huge kudos to Patagonia for holding a policy like this.Also should mention that Jeff upstairs was excellent. Jeff artfully explained to me why the Micropuff is what I should get instead of the Down sweater given the reduced downside (if you’ll pardon the pun) with the former when it gets wet vs the latter, and how the weight-to-warmth ratio and pack ability is much better with the Micropuff.Jeff even went to great lengths to place a hold for the Micropuff in the Patagonia Williamsburg location, major props to Jeff for being so helpful and for being so willing to impart his knowledge— I left the store feeling really good, and more informed about, what decision to make regarding Patagonia’s gearing options :)”
