“This Salvation Army on Buffalo Avenue is by far one of the best places you can go and get help, yes they have a food pantry they offer a good range of food products and the worker Haley is by far one of the best and only worker at that location she helped me and my fiancé when we had nothing and was going through a lot of stuff. If you need help and live in and around that area or surrounding area of that location and you need help stop there and Haley will do her best to help you out.”

“As a person who believes in repurpising and recycling, I'm a huge thrifter. I do not get to Sakvation Army much because this being the closest, it's about a half hour away. Wish there was one closer. I did get some deals on hardliners and stuff, but I didn't have time to go through most clothes. I did look at the infants and thought they were expensive.”

“Absolute treasure trove for shoes, especially high heels. In general it's a hidden gem, and a must for thrift shoppers far and wide. St Vincent De Paul's has everything, clothes, shoes, houseware, frames, furniture, etc. I had a great time perusing the shop. However, it's a shame that most of the shoes were for smaller women when I visited. Would definitely come back, it's a great find.”
“Whenever I go second hand store shopping for the day, I make sure this store is on my list. I very rarely leave the store empty handed. The cashiers are always so kind. The prices are more than fair/reasonable. They have a huge variety of men's and women's clothing along with atleast two racks of swimsuits. This store is truly a hidden gem with treasures tucked in the corners.
Tip: There is a powerstrip so that you are able to check appliances before purchasing. It is the back left wall. You will see it, it's hard to miss.”
“Just stopped in there for Erie County flu shot event but the staff was very nice, both for Salvation Army and the county vaccine distributors. They were very covid conscientious and that's always important and appreciated. I think at first they thought I was confused where I was but it went off fine. Glad there were no problems.”

“It was my first time in this store. The person with whom I was traveling and I expressed an interest in this store. The vast majority of the merchandise is of children's clothes, and more like a thrifts store, although I sid make a quick browse. I happily found a book with a felt black cat on the cover, and I was very happy to buy it. I believe there are a few Finders Keepers stores.”
“This is one of the best thrift stores in WNY, if not America. Caroline, Darlene and the crew do a great job keeping the store organized and clean. We find tons of unique vintage and new items here every time we stop in.”

About Super Savers/Value Village: This is a for-profit enterprise. Your purchases don't help participating charities, your donations do ... but for those charities, it's free without having to have their own donation and sales infrastructure, so they are happy with the arrangement.
Unlike other true nonprofit thrift stores, they are not a work program for disabled people.
On the other hand, they have a great selection, a neat store and competent staff.”

“I have been in several of thrift stores i have to say this is a very clean & organized thrift store. Prices are affordable and great thrifting. I did realize that there was a customer that wanted yo argue with the staff because he wanted the stuff he was buying for next to nothing. The customer was so rude and the lady seemed to be use to this behavior. But she handled it with class. I give 5 stars because i remember how this store use to be 7 years ago, 100% improvement. People prices go up stop expecting to get everything for nothing. Keep up the good job Salvation Army in Buffalo ❤️”
