“Update (Oct 2023): I still think they are worth 5 stars, prices are decent, too. Today, however, I discovered that this store has an outstanding sense of humor. Photos are provided in support of this statement. Scrubbing brushes are listed in the "entertainment" category ? Had to share that, it was just too good not to!”

“I rarely shop JC penny. Went w/friends. The store was having one of their biggest sales days.plus 30-50% off your order at the register when you " picked a card" ( to scratch off) . They had good selection , great prices & super helpful salespeople. You don't see that too much anymore. Usually you can't find anyone on the floor. Our cashier Katie was courteous , PATIENT( we were a lot to handle , lol) , & professional. She helped us get the best deal for our $$ . I would recommend this store in Oneonta NY& I would 100% come back.”

“Never had a problem at the previous supply store on 23 or the new tractor supply on 23 everyone is extremely helpful has always been extremely helpful and happy yes sometimes very overworked but they never take it out on the customers I moved up from Long Island and it became like my number two go to store from many things their cat and dog foods are a little overpriced but when there was a big problem with getting cat food they always had it so you know it's smaller than Walmart which is usually my cat food store and Petco if I want to pay a lot more money so I do go back and forth but the cons do not out number the pros I can tell you in the new store there's a lot of new staff but overall everyone is really good yeah there's a new cashier they had that has been like it every store in the area and she has a bit of a tude but I think it's just her over all personality it's kind of bland anyway I'm really hoping to get a job there I would love to be in their new floral departments get it rolling for the fall in the summer and that's not why I'm giving this great review I gave it to the old store and now I'm giving it to the new store”

“I have a 2017 hybrid Chevy Volt that I have grown to consider remarkable. First, I must explain that as a plug-in I have a level 2 charger and an Obdg diagnostic code reader. GM hybrid cars like mine are dependent upon temperature for battery capacity/recharging and reviewing the monthly GM diagnostic to review any potential issues and the life left of motor oil. GM dealers like all other dealers are forced to be used car dealers lacking sufficient vehicles available from the factory. The local GM dealer wants to buy a car like mine but also has a "commission-based" salesperson whose job is to add to the cost-questionable repairs each dealer visit. Good for dealer but bad for owner, This digression ends with one important fact about hybrids. The GM Volt is no longer being made because it was made too well and required little significant maintenance. Except, for the appropriate synthetic oil, and tire inflation pressure. For my needs, and I depend upon my GM Volt, so I depend upon Oneonta Walmart to change my oil and ensure my tires are properly inflated. My Volt gets 55 miles electric in Spring, Summer, and Fall and 47 miles in Winter. My composite MPG including the cost of electricity is over 100 MPG. Of course, since GM made the most efficient hybrid, the Volt, it was discontinued in 2019 because of few if any, mechanical problems. Most GM hybrids go over 200K. I recommend Oneonta Walmart for oil and tires to be able to go over 200K, based upon competent technicians and competitive prices on excellent synthetic oil and tires.”

“Typical busy Walmart. We did a pickup this time because we were in a hurry. Store has some construction going on so it was hard to find the pick up area in the parking lot. But the girl who brought our order out was very friendly. Great personality on a very cold morning”
