UPDATE 1-22-24: I called the number given by Lowe's as a response to this review. It is the same ineffective customer service number I have called countless times. Once again, I spent almost 2 hours on the phone, grappling with employees attempting to push this aside, until I made it to an Operations Manager, who is allegedly passing this issue up the chain.Do not use Lowe's for installation. Working with them to install windows & doors on my house has been a massive letdown. We paid in full for this routine project in October 2022. We're going on our 16th month, my project is still not complete, and what has been completed is covered mistakes that still need to be fixed. Lowe's hires substandard contractors who make careless & ridiculous mistakes, their in-store employees lose measurements, call the wrong contractors, and generally have no idea what's going on. "Lowe's Installation Support" is an entirely separate entity run like a call center designed to make you hang up; they do not effectively communicate with stores or contractors, let alone customers. Over the last 16 months, I've spoken to a large number of Install Support employees, all of whom continually ignore my directives, lie about taking notes, take incorrect notes, and have zero awareness of the status of my project (which is literally their job). I even lost a month trying to contact our first sales rep, because he left the company and no one told us, let alone picked up our project. I have put in more hours dealing with rampant unprofessionalism, than the amount of time it takes to do the actual work I hired Lowe's to complete. This has truly been the worst customer service I have ever experienced, by a vast margin. I do not recommend using Lowe's for installation.

This was my first and last large purchase at Lowe’s. I always use Home Depot but they did not have the brand appliances in stock that I wanted. So I stopped in Lowes on Friday 12/8 and asked if they had the appliances in stock that I wanted and they said yes and they said they actually had a delivery date of 12/10. Other than a refrigerator, I had no appliances because of a kitchen remodel. So I was glad to get them. It was pouring rain on Sunday 12/10 the delivery date. They arrived and immediately took the stove, dishwasher and a new clothes dryer off the truck lift and dropped them in the muddy unpaved driveway in their boxes. Understand it’s pouring and the cardboard boxes are getting soaked and I’m watching the bottoms of the boxes absorb the muddy water. 10 minutes later they bring them in my house and then I see my new kitchen aid refrigerator come down off the truck. They take it off the truck lift and plop it in the muddy driveway. They then remove all the styrofoam, plastic and they remove the wooden base the refrigerator is attached too and now the refrigerator is sitting in a muddy driveway. I yelled out my front door, get that refrigerator out of the mud. The one guy laughed. It’s still pouring and hey I understand that, I’ll dry it off. But to plop a new $2,000 plus refrigerator on my muddy unpaved driveway ? They brought the refrigerator up on my front porch and I asked them to stop. I could see mud on the bottom and I asked them to tip it. I got on my hands and knees and looked under the frig and it was muddy. I refused the refrigerator order. If you look at the picture I attached of my kitchen aid stove box that was left on finished floors and I had to move to an unfinished section, you’ll see how the dishwasher, clothes dryer and stove boxes looked that were left in my house. Now I have to deal with either a new delivery date or getting refunded for the frig and go look elsewhere.

Went into Lowe’s today to purchase joist jacks. The jacks found were standing in a section labeled with the appropriate description. The labeled price was $109, but rang up as 145. False advertisement. The manager was called over and refused reconcile the situation of their false advertisement/price label. Unprofessional and rude tone. The mislabeled price cost me an additional $160. Do your jobs! There wasn’t even a shelf spot or label for this item. No price mark anywhere to identify these items. Absolutely terrible.

I've spent at least 20 K at this particular store in the past 5 months. The customer service is GREAT, as long as you don't go later in the day, especially on a Sunday. Then it's hard to find an employee who is knowledgeable in specialty areas.

I went in on Halloween for rope for my daughter's Halloween costume I didn't catch the man's name that helped me but he was great !! Super friendly and carried on a conversation which I love ! GREAT customer service on his part :) and he gave me a little extra rope just in case :)

The employees are always friendly and helpful. You don't usually have to search for them because they are everywhere. I especially like the paint department. They've saved me money and hassle.

Horrible customer service. Manager refused to refund flooring over 90 days from purchase (which has never been enforced before and I’ve actually had them not use my receipt in the past) but in the same transaction did refund two other products over 90 days. Also my husband wanted to speak with the manager again and she refused to speak with him, turned her head and walked away.The reply from the store is lip service. I already had called the number and they stated they couldn’t help.
