“This was yet another fantastic stop while visiting the Electric City (No, not Scranton...). Just few blocks from many downtown hotels, it's a gem. It's a nice sized brewery with tables on two levels, and bar seating. All of the staff were friendly and the place was kept clean. The Brewben I had was delicious and everything that passed me going to other tables looked fantastic. Pricing is normal with most meals in the $14-$19 range.”

“Had a fabulous time Ice skating @ Canalside. Rentals were $5 per person. Admission is $8. Lockers $1.Pros: beautiful landscape.Friendly people willing to give out free lessons.Cons: they were out of many sizes of skates due to the demand of people coming in. Skates were hit or miss. Some were good condition, some were completely mangled.Long waits for rentals (so bring your own!!)Parking is sparse unless you are okay with paying ($5-$20).Overall, I would come again. Probably not on the weekend since parking is tricky & the crowding on the ice makes it hard to find your rhythm.”

““I recently had my fantastic Wedding at J's White Elephant – the food was delicious and the hall was beautifully decorated . Karen is such a pleasure to work with ,her food is phenomenal and all of her staff are so helpful. The service was excellent. “This was the first time I attended a concert at Babeville in Asbury Hall. It was a General Admission event with VIP seating for just the first seven rows of floor chairs.The venue was very historic looking, with lots of wood. The balcony is very cool. They don't serve food, but serve beverages at an upstairs bar. They also have a smaller bar in the basement. The stone work is also really cool down there. The men's bathrooms seemed to have enough capacity to reasonably handle the rush at Intermission.The sound in the room was not bad, but it was a bit muddy sounding. There were warm and cold sound spots scattered through the room.There isn't really onsite parking at the location, so you have to look elsewhere. There are a variety of bars and restaurants within a few blocks, so plenty of before & after gathering places.”

“Came in and enjoyed our anniversary night trying 174 Buffalo for the first time (on a Saturday night). We made reservations, but because we got there as early as we did, it didn't seem one was needed. I could see it getting busy as the night picks up. The atmosphere was amazing. We ordered multiple drinks, appetizers, and meals, which all were absolutely delicious. We will most definitely be back and bring guests with us to experience what we have.”

“This Edwardian building has some fabulous architecture, and now houses the Ukrainian Cultural Center. We stopped in for some food (the proceeds going to the Ukrainian support the Ukrainian people during the war), and got to see the bar area with it's vaulted ceilings. The bar is staffed entirely by volunteers, and has a neat selection of Ukrainian beers. The food was also made by volunteers, and we needed a translator to order! Everything was great, and the people were all welcoming.While the area isn't the greatest, they do have a parking lot on the east side of the building which can get packed, but offers fenced off-street parking.”
“The food was ok, we were not overwhelmed by it. There were too many beef type options, no chicken options. We are not beef eaters. We hope they continue to improve under the new ownership. There was an Art Show going on while we were there, we would have enjoyed, the staff should be able to provide information regarding the goings on at the campus.”
“My son and daughter-in-law recently celebrated their wedding at CCC, and it was an extraordinary experience. The venue has been meticulously restored and updated, boasting a breathtaking interior. The food was simply divine, and the wait and bar staff provided exceptional service throughout the event. From the perfectly cooked filet mignon, chicken, and salmon to the delightful salad, vegetables, potatoes, and hors d'oeuvres (including coconut shrimp, stuffed mushrooms, and bruschetta), every aspect of the dining experience was top-notch.The team at CCC, comprising Kevin, Alison, and Kim, was an absolute pleasure to work with. They were incredibly accommodating and made sure every detail was attended to. “I will say this establishment as a music venue has come a long way over the years . Happy that there is more seating so you can grab a bite to eat and relax while watching the entertainment. The music sounded great - they even had screens showing music videos while the band , Nineties by Nature , played . The nachos I ordered were crispy and cheesy - just as they should be ! My strawberry Moscow mule was tasty too. Only 2 reasons why the Cove can't be a 5 star review - #1 - not enough servers (we had to wait quite a while to be served ) on a very busy night - they should have been staffed better. #2- only 3 stalls in the women's room . There should be no reason to wait 15 - 20 minutes to go to the bathroom at a bar . With a space that holds 500+ people - they need another bathroom or add more stalls . I'd go back for more music though - just be careful how much you drink - you may have to hold it for awhile if a trip to the restroom facilities is necessary .”

“We had a fantastic dinner at Curlys. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. All the dishes were prepared and served with such purpose. The portions were great too. We had crab cakes, beet salad, Curlys burger, black black bean soup, and scallops Balboa...all just super good. Wonderful restaurant there in Lackawanna!”
