“The tattooed gentleman who was working closing 8/22 was awesome, our card flew out of my hand and behind the front shelves in a hard to reach area, he didn’t hesitate to help us out and hop onto the floor to reach behind and figure out what to do for us. I also seen his personable and friendly attitude towards the other customers. Great dude!”

“Hopefully next time I don't go off in the alarm for merch that was not deactivated. However, staff was pleasant and treated me with respect and dignity while they figured out what the cause of the alarm was and I was on my way within minutes. The store was clean and the staff were friendly and courteous. I always find what I need and much more when I go to dollar general !”

“A good place to get cheap makeup nail Polish, gardening items, and candles .. they have a good variety of cheap items however some items that are above 1.25 aren't worth the price anymore.. they still have a good selection of $1.25 items to make it worthwhile. Plus it's near Hannaford grocery..”

“The price specials on Wednesday is great for larger families. Makes it more affordable to go out. Marquee in utica 3x Rome's admission. Popcorn is fresh. Need to open more cashiers when it's opening day for a new release. Oh and the temperature in theaters is always cold. They won't turn it down so dress warm and bring a blanket. The recliner chairs are so comfy. Need a wider selection of movies for 5 to 10 years old”
“I love ? to shop here for items for home or garden. Though, on the outside of store there's always so much trash. Absolutely disgusting unbelievable that it's used as a personal dumping ground. I'm not sure why management doesn't have it cleaned or have employees pick it up. Otherwise it's fun to shop there!”

“i really like this store. well-stocked frozen food section with a huge selection, everything a buck each. in this respect, never seen another dollar store come close. you can't get all your groceries here but you definitely save some money making the extra trip. also a lot of other stuff, H&BA, stuff for cleaning, etc. i can't imagine a dollar store could get much better. kinda ghetto and sometimes the lines are longer... it is a trade-off i am happy to make.”
