“I’ve been coming to this Post Office Monday through Friday for the past 10 years, and the improvement over the last few months has been incredible. Since the new Postmaster, Ms. Masia, stepped in, everything runs so much more efficiently.
Ms. Soniya at the counter is fantastic—always friendly, helpful, and welcoming with a smile. It really makes a difference when you’re there regularly.
Another huge bonus is the newly designated parking specifically for the post office, which makes visits even more convenient.

“The women who work here are the kindest and most patient employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with at a post office. I will never use my local post offices again because this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. They helped me use up old postage I ordered incorrectly so I could mail several packages without wasting it or buying new stamps. They were patient and kind and pleasant with everyone. We had a lovely conversation while they helped me and I honestly can’t say enough nice things. Best post office in the COUNTY!!! I had to send a package that didn't quite fit in the standard box and he took the time and effort to bend, fold and tape it all together so I could send it. Way more than he needed to do!”

“I do not think I've ever encountered a U.S. postal service with 5 stars. I was curious and in the area so visited this location, and was impressed. It's in a cute area, across the street from a cafe. The post office was clean, and not busy whatsoever. Also, the mail clerk who helped me was kind, helpful, and professional. Definitely recommend this post office if you are in the area and in need of shipping.”
“Gregory is the gem of this post office. Patient, accommodating and just overall a nice person. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars here is because every time I come in, only 1 person is working the front and there is always a line. If they could adjust that, I think the reviews here would drastically improve.”

“Looks like all of the 1-star reviews are regarding passports. Weekday afternoon the Asian gentleman George was perfectly delightful and pleasant with handling my prepaid mail. So all is well with normal postal business. I suppose go elsewhere for passport making.”

“Great experience. The two workers were very helpful. Unlike another place I went to. They took me same day for an expedited passport, but you should make an appointment. Luckily, they were able to squeeze me in. Both workers were thoughtful and very thorough and answered all of our questions. Now I can make my trip with my wife. I really appreciate the help when I get the names of the two individuals who helped me I’ll put it here. Thanks again. Would highly recommend.”

The USPS has been starved for funds for ages now so if you're unhappy with this post office, write your congressman and advocate for better funding - don't blame the people who do the best they can with outdated equipment, office space etc.”

“These guys work hard! Day in day out. Has the pandemic taught us nothing? Have some patience, be polite, be respectful to others and you will get treated with respect. These people complain about the littlest of things. I’ve seen people talk down to and abuse the staff that works there. If someone comes into your place of business/ work and disrespects you(bad reviews) how would you handle it? Exactly. Stop being disrespectful towards the staff there due to the color or their skin. Stop using your privilege to justify your infantile behavior. For the life of GOD these people worked day in and day out during the pandemic. While your privilege narcissistic behinds stay home getting fat, lazy, mindless on how to treat other humans with respect. West Nyack Post Office You Rock !!!!”

“Latest closing hours in Westchester -7pm weekdays and 4pm Saturday. Many post offices aren't even open on Saturday in the city! The employees are very nice, caring and consistent faces over the last few years. I really appreciate them and the calm, positive vibe.”
