“My wife and I walked over on a beautiful afternoon to help a young man we mentor who's currently in tech school. He'd spent over an hour on the phone with AT&T representatives trying to sort out an issue with the myAT&T app (which has since been updated, though it still doesn't run smoothly) and wasn't getting anywhere, so we figured a walk to the nearest store would do double duty: exercise and troubleshooting.

The store itself is a good size, comparable to other AT&T locations we've visited across Central New York and down south. There were a couple of customers ahead of us, and the wait wasn't long. We worked with a rep named Mike, who had to call his supervisor to get authorization to access our mentee's account since he wasn't there in person to show ID. The manager granted the override, and once Mike got into the account, it turned out the payment had actually gone through — our mentee just hadn't been sure it worked. Mike was patient and accommodating throughout, and we appreciated the time he took with us.

The Cricket program can be tricky to navigate but he understood what I was trying to accomplish and helped me out! I definitely recommend working with him if you're in Oswego!”
