“Decent prices, fully stocked store with all your needs. Bug spray, air freshener, energy drinks, candles, snacks (chips and candy), tooth brush, mouth wash. House hold cleaning products, and gardening as well. The prices here are very reasonable. They have toy for smaller children, board games, and art supplies. Fairly located and a got spot to drop in. Store has own parking lot.”
“My first review of Rushbook was in 2022 when it first opened. The first time I was there, I didn’t realize it wasn’t officially open. The door wasn’t locked, so I walked in and ordered a breakfast sandwich. They made it for me and didn’t charge me. Since then, my wife and I try to get to Rushbook once or twice a week for breakfast or to pick up a Grab and Go dinner. Now that they are celebrating their third anniversary, I thought it was time to update my review.
The food is always delicious and beautifully served. The interior has a cool Catskill feel with lots of wood, beautiful tables, and a long bar where you can eat. That's not the only reason we go to Rushbook. It’s about the vibe Rushbook has. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. Even if it’s your first time there, you will feel like you are a regular. We like bumping into other locals.
My go-to is the Breakfast Burrito Pocket (chorizo, Mexican cheese, rice, eggs) with a side of home fries. My second choice is the bacon, egg, cheese sandwich on a homemade kaiser roll. My wife often gets the Breakfast Fried Rice Bowl, Frittata, or one of the delicious homemade soups and has enjoyed everything.
West Saugerties needed a place where you can pick up incidentals and get something to eat. A place where everyone knows your name. When it’s busy, you need to be patient because the food takes time, but it is well worth the wait. Enjoy the atmosphere, drink some coffee, and be in the moment while you wait for your delicious meal.
I’ve been writing Google Maps Reviews for over ten years, working my way up the Google Local Guides levels. This review gets me to Level 10, which is the highest level. I wanted to reach Level 10 at a place I love.

“Big Joe mufferaw is the best man in Ottawa, Puka the best man I know, and if Hank got a jib cut as fresh as his vegetable you know he’s a good guy too! Puka ain’t got an old lady yet so me and thirty other men are bunkin up to celebrate him, my old lady said to get some sleep but I got coffee instead (bustelo). Came here for other provisions as well. Oatmeal. Pretzel. Gonna sleep out back while all the other men shack up. In a world full of too many men, some bad, it’s nice that hank is a slice of home no matter where you find him! Forgot a bucket hat for this weekend of weekends if you got one I can borrow DM me.”
“I used to come to Olsen & Company all the time when I used to live in Saugerties. Now that I’m living back in the area I’m so happy I get to come here more often. I’m impressed by their dedication to local, fresh food and drinks. I always feel good after I’ve had something to eat here. Family run businesses like this really impress me. The ambiance is great! I feel like I can collect my thoughts here. They even have local affordable honey for $11! Great job!”

“Usually have decent produce. I trust buying my fresh fruit or veggies from here. Good selection of gluten-free items in its own little section which is helpful. Variety of employees and LGBTQ friendly which is nice to see in that area.”

“Discovered this AWESOME little store on my way to a new job site just outside of Woodstock NY. They are very friendly have great fresh made food and ssandwiches. A lot of local products n produce and most importantly Amazing Coffee. Definitely worth the trip.”
“This was a fantastic pit-spot for quick lunch on a long drive. And man oh man the food was good. The day was a chilly afternoon, which made for the sandwich and the soup a lethal combo. I was coming from Philadelphia for a fall-hike around the area, and this lunch stop essentially made the 3 hour drive worth it. Must stop here if you're in the area.”

“I want to thank the bakery at Catskill Price Chopper for making the Coxsackie Senior Halloween cake for our meeting refreshment. I ordered the specifics when it came to the cake itself but gave the bakery a free hand at decorating. I was happily surprised and so were our members. Price chopper is our go to place for cakes on those special occasions. Thank you!”

Clean, friendly, and full of good vibes! But the grain section needs a glow-up — it’s all rice! Bring in the kings of nutrition — buckwheat (aka kasha, the secret weapon of many European athletes), millet, quinoa, and amaranth. Let’s give these power grains their rightful throne so I don’t have to keep shopping on Amazon! ?”
“The pharmacist here - and his entire staff - go way above and beyond their scope of duty to accommodate the customer. They have contacted my other pharmacy to get prescriptions transferred, worked with my insurance, contacted my doctor, etc. And - due to my strict, limited insurance plan - I wasn't even a regular customer here at the time! I now go here whenever possible because they are so nice and helpful.”
“I'm only in the Hunter area a few times a year to visit family but have found the need to visit Dollar General on a number of occasions. Have found the store to always have a wide variety of merchandise, well kept, and the staff to be extremely accommodating.”
“The selection is comparable to most grocery stores, slightly on the expensive side but that's typical of the Catskill area.
I'm hard of hearing and the older self checkout clerk was mocking me to another employee because I asked her to repeat something I didn't catch. Sorry my disability inconveniences you. Customer service could be better, but ultimately you won't have to interact with them longer than a couple minutes so not a big deal.”
“I came to shop in the evening. The staff was very nice, very helpful. I asked one associate to help me find something really quick and had no problem helping me. I felt very comfortable and the store is always clean as well as the bathroom is always clean. Thank you”

“I stop at this Stewart’s when I’m in the area, which has been a lot recently. The staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean and everything is well stocked. I’ve had the burgers and pizza and few times and they’re pretty good. Personally love the coffee from Stewart’s too! Only suggestion, have more cheese pizza or garlic pizza as not everyone eats pork.”

“I was told by a friend that we MUST stop here for sandwiches on a recent trip to Tannersville, and man was he right. They have an extensive menu with tons of options (including vegetarian choices!) and are reasonably priced. I went for their pesto caprese sandwich and it was incredibly good. The service was super quick, and the food was awesome! I wish I lived closer to Circle W, because I would totally become a regular. Definitely stop in - it is amazing!”
