“Flea markets for the most part on Long Island are a distant memory. This one is a mini flea market with all jewelry booths. Have repeatedly went to see Mike (second booth on far left). “I was in a time crunch and in need of a quick resizing of my wedding band. I haven’t been able to take it off for 15 years and yesterday I tried the floss technique, on a whim. It was 2 days before going on vacation, and I was shocked that it worked!! Needless to say, I did not want to put it back on my finger, but I also didn’t want to go on vacation without my wedding band. Why did I do this right before vacation when I have a million things to do?! A quick search revealed several jewelers in the area, but Elegant Jewelry stood out because of their overwhelmingly positive reviews and the mention that they have been around for many years. Well!!! The reviews were spot on!! In business over 30 years and it was clear why—Arsen is amazing and the rest of the staff are true gems! Not only did Arsen resize my wedding band and make it look like new in an hour, but he also noticed the unpolished state of my engagement ring and offered to quickly make it as beautiful as my wedding band at no additional cost. What a class act! As I was leaving I noticed exactly the pair of earrings I have been searching for, so I will definitely be back with some old trade-in jewelry. I live 40 minutes away and just happened to be in Patchogue for the afternoon, but I will happily make the drive again after my vacation because of the quality of service and the quality of the staff.”
