I was charged for a service I never asked for, one they acknowledge they didn't do. I asked them to refund me the $50 they charged me. I was told nobody except a manager could give me a refund. No problem - let me speak with a manager. Multiple phone calls and visits to the shop, no manager is ever available and nobody has called me back as promised. What a waste of my time. Don't let them waste yours. I forgot to mention they left a flashlight under my hood and didn't replace (shraeder) caps on my ac system after working on my truck. I found one of them on top of my battery - the other was lost. They tried replacing with something they found in the garbage. What a terrible shop.

Great place to go if you like making an appointment and then waiting 2 and a half hours for them to not even look at your car. Can't comment on the actual work because it never got done

They did not honor my appointment time and lied about having parts in stock. Went 3 hours past my pickup time. Poor customer experience

Ryan was super helpful. Good deal on a new set of tires. Being able to use Klarna for payment was a bonus. Ryan also kept me informed about the alignment my truck definitely needed and the custom lug nuts that had to be addressed due to previous owner of my vehicle replacing OEM rims/wheels

Make appointment through there online website.And it's very easy to do you just type in to make the model, year, what type of repair, and the date and time you want to drop of car. got my car in and out they did my oil change.It was done in an hour

My brother purchased a NEWWWW tire in September. It has deflated so many times and they still charge us $25 to do it even though clearly they gave us a defected one. How is a new tire deflating after 2 months. They still charge us and can’t even fix the issue. They need new workers who actually know what they are doing or give us a new tire. We go back there to get it fixed and we are wasting our time and money. This was after we filled up the air the day before and this is today. When they fixed it last time by the time we got home we saw the tire go down. I do not recommend this place if you’re trying to get “new” tires. I got mine at GoodYear with my old car years ago and have never had a issue when my tire did go flat they fixed it and didn’t have to go back at all. It’s 10 minutes away from here so save your money and go GET YOUR TIRE ELSE WHERE!!!

Scheduled an appointment for my car to be inspected, I get there a few minutes early and completely empty waiting room. He tells me it will be a 2-3 hour wait, that my car wouldn't get done until they were finished with the last car. I was really upset that I wasted my time thinking an appointment meant something. I could have gone somewhere else. So unprofessional and he didn't even care. I will never come here again!

Pep Boys is a great place for car repair and service neat and clean. Staff is very helpful and professional and their work is top notch! They have done really a excellent job. will only be going here when I need service on any of my vehicles!
Qadir is great person, He took great care of my vehicle and had great communication with updates.
Highly recommended.

90 minute wait time, good. Ashley, cashier, very nice. Ty, mechanic who did the alignment, great job. As soon as I drove my van, felt really good. Ty is an ace mechanic. Couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you.

Be aware multiple appointments are scheduled and you may have to wait hours for you car if you don't do a drop off appointment

I had a great experience working with the team at the Patchogue center. They were a friendly and pleasant crew. The cost was reasonable and the service requested was completed well in advance of their estimated time. The shop was very clean which was pleasant to see.

Review 2022-Although this PepBoys is going through a major renovational change and there are no "convenient niceties" available, the workers were patient, pleasant, and considerate during my wait for service. When everything comes into place, I hope they get a bigger break room, more help with thier servicing crew, and a raise for the existing crew.
Update review 2024-Renovations have been completed. I have continued to bring my car for servicing. The waiting area and bathrooms are clean. The floors are highly polished. The staff continue to be considerate and polite.
Waiting time has also reduced and the difficult coffee pot was replaced with a friendlier version. I'm hoping the staff got a raise and bigger break room.

I am not the one to leave bad reviews but in this case, I have to. Horrrrroble service. Avoid this place at all cost!! My aunt went for a simple oil change and her truck came out with every singe light shining bright on her dashboard, charged her $150 dollars, the employee tried to show her a picture of a leak under her truck but she realized right away it wasn’t her truck!!! Once she was almost home, the truck shut off!!! It would not turn on! Thankfully the maintenance man in her apt complex knew a mechanic. The only reason she went there was because her lifelong mechanic moved. My aunt knows her truck like the back of her hand. Try to say $1000 worth of maintenance was needed. Plus over an hour wait. I’m not sure how they let this go on, manager/owner must be as corrupt as the employees. Sucks especially as a Women, that bringing your car in has to be such an anxiety filled hassle. I guess people don’t believe in karma.
