“I bank at a few institutions and HVCU does a great job, you get the benefits of a credit union, I’ve never had any issues with fraud over ~20 years, decent rates and great staff. I’ve worked with Stephen recently and he is a personable and knowledgeable. The only folks I’ve met who have a problem with the branch are miserable people.”
“I don't know why people lose their minds over a bank; this is fine. Parking, ATM has great services, the people are polite and helpful. Sometimes it's us. I'm 30 years in retail and it goes both ways sometimes. Every exception can't be the rule; for the most part, it balances out. There are a couple of establishments in town that could pick it up a notch. I've banked in every one over the last 35 years.”
“I had a serious issue with my bank account, it was tagged for Identity theft. This took place on the 4th of July weekend. I went in on Saturday the 5th and Matt did all he could to help me but the department that could verify and unlock my account wasn't able to do so until. Monday. First thing in Monday morning l was there. Unfortunately my account was unable to be unlocked due to being flagged, that was for my protection. I can truly say the time patience professionalism and knowledge that Matt showed was unbelievable. He got me set up with my new account transferred my funds explain how to use Zelle and remained so polite and compassionate through the process. Matt represents TD Bank at its Best.”

“Today I went to this Chase Branch to cash in about 40 US Savings Bonds. Jose, who helped me was absolutely calm, polite, and diligent, in getting all of them cashed. The other teller, Nancy, then had to deal with many customers because I was taking up all of Jose's time. She was also amazing in dealing with so many people. She was polite, patient and had excellent customer service. Everyone who I saw working there was very polite and helpful. Overall Excellent customer service!”

“This is a great bank. I opened a new account on Mill Plain road with Sherrill Koch, the Branch Relationship Manager. I really enjoyed our conversation, as it didn't feel stuffy like most other banks. She gave me a lot of knowledge of the bank. I grew up here in Danbury, Connecticut and never realized that Savings Bank of Danbury has been open for a 170 years....wow! Also having attended Danbury High School, I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Hal Wibling's daughters. He is the Chairman of this establishment, and the family integrity is well represented by they banking institution.”
