Last week, My daughter paid for me to become a member. Sebastian V. is exceptional, insightful, and kind. He stopped what he was doing and immediately assisted me with setting up my 24-hour Fitness App. He then spoke to me about the gym to assess my areas of interest, walked me to the pool, and gave me his card in case I needed anything else.”

“I’ve been a member of Rock Fitness for 2 months now, and I can confidently say this is hands-down the best gym in Astoria! The location right by the Ditmars subway station is unbeatable and makes it so easy to stay consistent. The manager is incredibly professional, and the entire team always greets every member with a smile. The facility is top-notch, with brand new workout machines, a great variety of classes, and a sauna. As an added bonus, their Rock bar makes fantastic protein shakes, juices and smoothie. Rock gym in Astoria rocks! 🤘🏻”

“Boxingology is my introduction into the boxing training world and I have to say it is fast paced, challenging, hard-work. I love how they teach you how to move while you’re actually in it rather than step by step teaching. Coach Will definitely pushes you to and pass your limits. “I was in town for work and joined the gym as my main spot to work out which was convenient as I was playing tennis next door.

Facility - Excellent. Clean with plenty of equipment and a turf area for many different activities.

Staff - Friendly & Helpful.

Membership was very easy to freeze / cancel. They are on top of communication which from my experience many gyms tend to be horrible at. I dread having to jump through 300 hoops to have a gym stop charging me. P10 just needs a single email which they promptly respond to.

This is an easy 5/5 from me. Look forwarding to coming back if I am in the area again.”

Workouts are unique and fun, not to mention challenging. Coaches are great and encouraging, but not drill sergeants. Members are friendly.

“With roots from one of the first CrossFit affiliates in NYC, this space is exactly what you want in a box.

The coaches do well to accommodate all levels, with members ranging from beginner to regional games athletes. The space isn’t huge though you don’t really feel it as classes are capped. Well worth checking out if just for the friendly community.

Overall, best option in the neighborhood.”

“Glenn is a great coach! Funny personality that makes you feel comfortable coming to class every time. He is very flexible with the workouts. I’m a beginner and he always works with me to make the workouts work for me. He also challenges me when I complain of not wanting to do it. (I need that!) lol He kicked my ass today after a month and change of no working out but it feels good! Oh! And I love his reggaeton music playlist! Makes the workout even better! :)”

The Body Blueprint was recommended to me by Kristina, who is also an employee there as well as a friend, and I’m really glad I gave it a try. I took Suzette’s 5 AM strength and conditioning class, and it was a great welcome back after not doing CrossFit-style training for about two years. The environment was friendly, supportive, and not intimidating at all. I’d definitely recommend The Body Blueprint to anyone looking to start or restart their fitness journey.”

“Love this place. My membership is strictly for access to the gym not for the classes. The space itself is well kept and very open. It is perfect for a workout. I enjoy the easy access into the gym, simply open the door with my cellphone and get to work. I go in the early mornings and usually have the space all to myself and my tunes.Also Eoghan is awesome, he designed specific strength programs to improve my strength for my jujitsu training. I have nothing but positive things to say about Uptown Movement it is a really great place with wonderful people.”
