“PROS: The people in here are nice and it's very clean and organized. they have many sections to choose from that range for people of all ages. CONS: They only accept cash up to $25 and parking is limited to street parking. It's also cramped inside overall: if you were in the area you should stop on in. Their prices are low for some items and high for others, just depending on what you're looking for as well”

“As a volunteer and intern at Give Chances, I have quickly been accustomed to the amazing opportunities this organization provides students. Not only for the students being taught, but also for the volunteers, this organization provides connections and skills that cannot be developed elsewhere. All students and volunteers are driven and motivated, accompanied by the kind administration who leads this community. I never regretted coming to serve here and believe it’s one of the best opportunities for the youth.”

“Very decent nature center and system of trails around it (see Avenza or AllTrails for precise navigation). Unfortunately mid-July situation with mosquitoes is horrible, just too many of them to enjoy the trails.”

“The staff is very friendly and eager to help. You can drop off donations at any time. There is a drop off point in the lower parking garage. It's the first right as you pull in the driveway. Go to the main entrance at any time of day or night to get a receipt for your tax purposes. The main entrance is located on the second entrance on the right up the main driveway. The Salvation Army also offers adult rehabilitation.”

“I was walking down the steep sidewalk outside. I lost my footing and tumbled scraping my hand on the concrete and glass. I walked in with my hand all bloody. They were in the middle of Sunday services. But a nice lady in the back pointed me to the men's room where I was able to wash up and get back on my way. I put $2 in the bucket to show my appreciation. Thanks Nepperhan!”

“This is a fantastic organization. I've seen them in action since being introduced to them when I was in high school. Please support them in any way you can. The manager has always been wonderful and I've been able to donate many prepacked kits and non persishable snacks and bottles of drinks needed for groups to go out on runs.As a side note this is a tiny donation center managed by a very small staff. They need very specific items or groups of volunteers for the specific mission they fulfill. They are not a dumping ground for things you dont want and can't accept donations of items that can't be handed directly to a person experiencing hardship on the street, literally in the middle of the night. If you aren't sure or need a person to be available to accept your donation, email them ahead to check. The office is often staffed by people experiencing hardship and in need of work. The manager is running it with very little staff. Please don't be nasty and post rude reviews. It's a charity, not a commercial chain store. They aren't there to make you feel like you got good customer service, they're there to serve a community of people in crisis.”

“The true care and compassion shown to us by Evelyn, Debra, Tina, Michelle (Aide) and Barbara (Nurse) was incredible. They allowed my mother to pass in the comfort of her home of 35 years, holding my Dad's and my hand as she took her last breath. It is the greatest privilege bestowed upon us. These ladies of Hospice are true angels on earth and we couldn't be more thankful to each of them, but, especially Barbara. You make a difference in everyone's life, Barbara. Never forget that!”

“My kids have been participating in shows (Jellybeans through Workshop & Lab) for the past 6 years. It is consistently the activity they look forward to each week. I am amazed what they can put together in 10 weeks. And, the organization is awesome! You know exactly when & where you need to be for every rehearsal before you sign up. The instructors are all extremely talented, patient & so enthusiastic. They are the best!”
