“A gem. Spent three nights at GM in February. Spa, room, food, property, staff, all great. Absolutely cannot beat the proximity to NYC and the overall quality of the stay. Special acknowledgement to the housekeeping crew. Never saw them, room was always cleaned and turned down. Restaurants are great, menus have something for everyone. Fresh baked breads at every meal. Will return.”

“Personally, I think the rooms could have been clean better. For instance the shower floor had stains. The bed had little particles on it. The coffee machine in the room needs to be cleaned thoroughly it has stains all over it.
I always bring a Lysol spray and wipes as well as my own towels when I go anywhere to hotel/motel just and hygienic problem. I gave that room a deep spray and my own quick cleaning before we slept.
But overall the locate was great. The man at the front desk was okay didn’t have any issues at all. I wish I had woken up earlier to get a picture of the sun rise because it has a beautiful view.”

I interacted with quite a few staff members during my stay and all of them were incredibly friendly and helpful. Any issues I had were remediated by them quickly.
The rooms were fine, taking off a star because there was a bit of a musty scent (the reviews citing cigarette smells are definitely onto something, but it wasn't overwhelming).
Breakfast was simple, but good and included in the standard rate.
Plenty of parking for the amount of rooms they had.
All in all, a very good value for your buck.”

“Exceptional service, so charming!
If I could give this place a hundred stars, I would.
First off, Bob was an absolutely INCREDIBLE and accommodating host. Super kind and knowledgeable about the area. Made the most incredible breakfast (delectable home-made scones, muffins, a ham and cheese pastry, scrambled eggs, poached pears… ? and even home-made brownies)
Location is great! Close enough to local fall attractions like apple picking farms, sugarloaf, and even the Appalachian trail!
We drove past the house a couple of times because it didn’t look like a B&B from the outside. Nevertheless, The house is so charming and well-kept on the inside. Everything was fresh and so much attention to detail in the rooms. We were so grateful and will be back!”
