The Spectrum Store at 29 Consumer Square in Plattsburgh provides services for Internet, mobile, cable TV, and equipment. Reviews highlight a significant contrast in customer service experiences among staff. Many customers report excellent, professional, and knowledgeable help from certain employees, who are described as amazing, super helpful, and taking their job seriously. These positive interactions are a key reason for continued business and high star ratings. However, a strongly negative experience is noted with one specific employee, described as tall, skinny, and bald, whose attitude is called rude, grumpy, unprofessional, and suffocating. This individual’s behavior is noted to make customers very uncomfortable and risks driving business away. A major point across reviews is store wait times. The consensus advice is to always make a reservation or appointment ahead of a visit to avoid very long waits, which can last hours for walk-ins. Customers are also reminded that the store is not the billing department; bill payments and some equipment issues can be handled via the app, website, customer service phone line, or UPS. When visited with an appointment for appropriate services like upgrades or equipment pickup, the experience is typically fast and efficient.

You know I would have given 5 stars. A power struggle between a manager and an underling developed. I understand mistakes. When someone needs to be corrected, it is unexeptable to argue. I intend to keep using spectrum as there is the best and most reliable service. I hope the employee can be straightened out.
