Ex customer of 13+ years here, switching to Mint mobile really only took 38 minutes on the phone and for 2 devices the cost was 90$ for unlimited data (with hotspot) FOR 3 MONTHS!! I've spent many hours on the phone with Verizon over the years for the slightest of inconveniences. Not once has the cost of Verizon been justified for their services. No change in coverage, no change in speeds, just a huge chunk of money to be saved after leaving these money hungry gluttons. There is light at the end of the Verizon tunnel and it starts with switching.

the representative opened a duplicate account on my name and now I'm hit with bad credit and it was transferred to collections after my regular account is still active and paid on time! be careful with them!!Thanks for the reply!Please fix my problem I'm looking for a solution not to complain...

The most useless store. They used to be great, not sure what happened. I go to pick out a phone that's on display and was told they don't carry them, only the newest model that just came out. Then why have it on display? Second, my jetpack stopped working all of a sudden but they can't do anything. Wouldn't even look into it and was told to call customer service.. isn't that what the store is for? This definitely makes me want to look into changing carriers

Terrible customer service! Rushed, unprofessional! Went in on Saturday shortly after 5pm. My old iPhone - the screen stopped working and I couldn’t access it or anything (tried everything.) I wanted to purchase a new one as I was due for an upgrade anyway. The guy with long blond hair in a ponytail with tattoos on his knuckles, sold me a new iPhone knowing I wouldn’t be able to access my Apple Music or any other data. I couldn’t remember my Apple ID password and was told it was a simple phone call to Apple, which it has been everything but. He knew I wouldn’t be able to access my Verizon plan features and didn’t say anything because he was more concerned with leaving the store. There was over 40 minutes left and not for anything, I’ve worked in retail prior and if a customer comes in BEFORE closing, we were obligated to that customer and not just make a sale and send them on their way! We paid the device in full and asked for a paper receipt, which we were not given. They only wanted to email it. When the blond, ponytail sales rep asked another older man working there to help him with a paper receipt he had the nerve to ask why? So unprofessional, never received the email and I WILL be contacting corporate. It’s Monday and I can’t access anything on my phone because this man refused to properly help me with set up!

I went in at 5:50 pm to get a question I had answered. A skinny, young male associate asks me how he can help. I tell him I have a quick question about the app. He then tells me "Well, we close in 10 minutes, so you'll need to make an appointment for tomorrow." So I then tried to show him what was going on and he then said "I don't really know man. Why don't you just make an appointment tomorrow?" What kind of terrible customer service is this? It would've taken him less time to help me then push me away. Thankfully when I got home I called Verizon customer service and gave a sale to Fernando who was very nice. Won't go back to that store again.

Save yourself a lot of time and drive to the Burlington Verizon store. The staff in Plattsburgh were unavailing. You would think they would be more upbeat and helpful considering that we brought TWO new phones from them. Instead they were apathetic, lazy and very slow. They didn’t offer any help or advice on setting up a new phone or try to troubleshoot the old phones.
