“Girl Scout Troop 2812 was so happy to bake cupcakes for the guests at the RMH in Valhalla. Their entire "House" is extremely clean. We loved using their kitchen to bake with our Junior troop, of 10 year olds. Susan at the front desk made it such a pleasant experience, with quick and easy check-in. We can't wait to volunteer again! We will definitely be back to help. :-)”
“Highly recommended for anyone interested in food systems. It’s especially impactful for families, educators, & anyone looking to reconnect with where our food really comes from.
The agriculture tour at Stone Barns Center is a truly enriching experience that goes far beyond the typical farm visit. It offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at regenerative agriculture in action.
The tour brings you up close to every part of the food system, from the pastures where heritage breed livestock graze, to the greenhouse innovations and composting operations that feed the soil. The emphasis is on sustainable, ecologically responsible farming practices, and it’s clear the center isn’t just growing food, but rethinking the entire relationship between people, land, and climate.”
“Honestly amazing, great size, so many services to offer and friendly staff. I was blown away by all of the amazing things they offer, from a recording studio, a teen room, coffee and tea station, mini garden and many more, I enjoyed every second thoroughly and it really had that old library charm that I love so much. If you stop by be sure to say hi to the turtle downstairs and drop a coin in the funnel there.”
“Beautiful place and hikes. The photo of the map below does not always match the names or arrow/directions posted on the trail itself––very confusing. The place is not too big where are you will get very lost, but bring a GPS app also.”

“My children have been at Pat-A-Cake since they were in the infant room at five months old. We have made our way up to the Pre K room and have loved every stop along the way. The facility is clean and filled with fun and education material for the children. My children have made wonderful friends in their classes and have connected with each of their teachers. It is obviously that the staff cares deeply for the children and they go above and beyond to make the environment both fun and education. The socialization, education and nurturing my children have experience here have been priceless. We enjoy seeing smiling parents in the parking lot and happy kids running inside to see their teachers in the morning. I cannot recommend Pat-A-Cake enough!”
“Moldtec has found that the BCW is more than a business networking group. The BCW is dynamic and offers a treasure trove of events, meetings, seminar's and more. Our group trip to Albany is special as we not only received a fantastic tour of our state capital building but also advocated for small businesses and practices. I highly recommend anyone conducting business in the Westchester County area to come to an event and meet some amazing and talented people.”
“Great organization preserving wooded and open spaces for native wildlife and plants. They have many properties that are open free to the public for hiking. Parking is usually limited and not paved. Restrooms are not usually available.”
“I stopped by this cute little thrift shop and walked out with some amazing treasures. The staff we’re friendly and professional. You can find everything from clothing to furniture. If you’re looking for items for your home your guaranteed to find them in this shop. This is a must visit location for my fellow traveling thrifters.”

“This is a fantastic organization. I've seen them in action since being introduced to them when I was in high school. Please support them in any way you can. The manager has always been wonderful and I've been able to donate many prepacked kits and non persishable snacks and bottles of drinks needed for groups to go out on runs.As a side note this is a tiny donation center managed by a very small staff. They need very specific items or groups of volunteers for the specific mission they fulfill. They are not a dumping ground for things you dont want and can't accept donations of items that can't be handed directly to a person experiencing hardship on the street, literally in the middle of the night. If you aren't sure or need a person to be available to accept your donation, email them ahead to check. The office is often staffed by people experiencing hardship and in need of work. The manager is running it with very little staff. Please don't be nasty and post rude reviews. It's a charity, not a commercial chain store. They aren't there to make you feel like you got good customer service, they're there to serve a community of people in crisis.”

“My kids have been participating in shows (Jellybeans through Workshop & Lab) for the past 6 years. It is consistently the activity they look forward to each week. I am amazed what they can put together in 10 weeks. And, the organization is awesome! You know exactly when & where you need to be for every rehearsal before you sign up. The instructors are all extremely talented, patient & so enthusiastic. They are the best!”
“YLIA has the best selection of stuff - and the best part - you are helping the community when you shop (or donate) there! The clothing stock is rotated, so you don't see the same stuff week after week- and the prices are great! I got a 'new' leather tote for $15 and when I looked it up online, it was worth $250! The finds are great!”
“My new go to gym it's just over the Cuomo Bridge and Nyack it is a full facility even though it has stairs it works my cardiovascular system climbing up for sets of stairs to get to the top where the treadmills are in a private room overlooking the gym there is also a rather large private room off the bicycle room on the top floor where there are dancer bars a large window and mats that you can stretch out on or do your exercises they also have a full size pool sauna a hot tub with a good schedule when you can use it a lady's locker room a room filled with equipment and weights and I'm just thrilled they accepted my health care insurance! Happy New Year everyone!”
“i've been with Abilis for a few years now. I started with no experience, and now I'm one of the day program managers. If you are looking for a good place to work, please do not hesitate.”
“Upon arrival I was greeted with open arms by all and I felt cared for and valuable in the space, and I took my leave after a divine meeting. I am very glad to have made an appearance at the remarkable Arc”
“Caring, selfless, patient professional organization who change lives with their amazing attorneys and paralegals. When people make you feel inhuman this organization makes it clear that you have rights and advocate for you. I hope those who make donations to this amazing organization truly realize how much these superheroes change the lives of others, not just prevailing in a matter but assuring you know you have rights and people do care.”

“Nice place, it's been two years since I was there, the house where I was is called "Bradish" I hope one day to be able to find a job there, I send you my regards, I'm really sorry, I forgot your names and Mr. G, who is my namesake I send you greetings, without a doubt, the best teacher. I thank you very much for the advice you gave me when I was there. I only have this year left to graduate from high school. I thank God that 4 days ago I obtained my work permit and social security. God willing maybe I will go to visit Children village in December.”
“I visit the Wt Plains Y four to five days a week (we have a family members giving us access to the entire facility and classes for about $125 per month). I have found the staff to be consistently friendly, helpful and interested in making my visits better. The equipment is plentiful, never any waiting, in good working order and clean. While both pools are under extensive repair which is only to be expected of an aging facility. Our two sons learned to swim there nearly thirty years ago and now, decades later I always come away with a smile. One of the best deals in Wt Plains. Not as cool as the Orange gym across the street but far more than bright colors and lines of ponytails for a lot less money.”

“I applied to work at this Y roughly 13 years ago when I was desperate for a job after graduating college. They suggested that I apply to a Y closer to where I live. Fast forward to present day and I work at my dream job.I’m indebted to the Tarrytown YMCA ??♂️”
“They do so much with carved pumpkins and try to bring everyone's interests into the experience. This place is absolutely worth the price to get in. It is handicapped accessible. We will absolutely return and recommend.”
