“With mechanics it feels like for every 20 dishonest ones you meet 1 honest one. I brought my car to Mike a few months ago for a repair that he took care of quickly without any excess problems popping up. Went again today for something, and initially they thought it was a repair running a few hundred dollars. At the last minute one of Mike's mechanics (ernesto? emmanuel?) noticed the part in question had an auto-function and the repair wasn't necessary. Mikes a good guy and for over half a decade I used to drive far out of my way for my former mechanic so it's helpful to have someone local that I can trust with my car.”
“Dropped my car off at like 8:30am on a Saturday, John took my car right away and had it done really fast. He is very professional and nice to chat with. I had called earlier in the week to get on the list for the day. As a plus, I live around the corner and can walk home while they work on my car. This was the best oil change and tire rotation experience I ever had. A pleasure to do business with.

While they were checking my car I saw they were detailing, so I got a quote and let me tell you when I saw my car it looked like that im picking it up from the dealership when I first got it. “I'm a distrustful person by nature. Humans are always trying to get over on other humans. I guess it's a form of survival of the fittest. So, when I come across genuinely good humans (especially in the auto repair industry) I am shocked and dismayed.The lads over Chris' Service Center are genuinely good humans. They have serviced my vehicles for 7 or 8 years. Every time, I have been there they have been transparent as to what they have done or will do. They won't surprise you with, "I had to..." Nyet. They call you before they do anything to your vehicle. They advise. No pressure.Ronnie is the main dude at Chris'. He is patient and non patronizing. I know nothing about cars except for how to drive them. Does Ronnie know? Yes. Does he spew automotive jargon when I visit? Nyet. He patiently explains.One time my wife, a driving neophyte, busted the side view mirror. I admit I wasn't too happy with the situation as I am very fond of my money. I may even have been a little upset, but Ronnie related to my wife that such things happen to all of us. It made her feel better. It was very nice. And he proceeded to order a mirror and eventually fixed everything. He even was nice enough to buff the tiny scratches (no charge)--- even nicer.When was I last there? Yesterday. I had an oil change and my inspection. I dropped it off at 7 am and it was ready for me by 9 am.Furthermore, the gas attendant, an Ecuadorian like me, always courteous and efficient.If y'all need work done on your car--- take it to Chris' Service Center.Services: Tires”

“This convenience store and gas station are always clean, the staff helpful and "super convenient" as Point Lookout doesn't have a lot of places to shop and it's the only place to buy gas. They are a full service gas station, which is always nice when the weather is cold or rainy, or it's just nice to have someone else pump your gas. The attendant is always quick and friendly. Another reviewer was complaining about charging for air...I don't know one gas station that doesn't. When you need ice cream, pain reliever, a snack or something quick, this is the place to go! And I'm grateful to have this convenience down the street.”
