Man named Dan calls me out of the blue and says that he feels he could save me some money on shipping and recharged me for only $19! Who does that nowadays? “Looking for great deals on tools? This is the place. Particularly, good for hand tools and stuff were precision is not required. As Harbor Freight goes this is a new, clean and well run location.

“They have have literally everything. Great place if you need some cooking gadgets or grilling/smoking equipment. They have grills and smokers in every price range, tons of charcoal options, tons of smoking pellets, wood chunks, and chips. One stop shop for cooking/grilling gear and other needs.”
“Great local hardware store alternative to the big box retailers. I go here for anything specialized or Benjamin Moore paint, which you can't get at the big retailers. Staff is helpful and nice. Open on Sundays.”

“I've been using Zubige's forever, as I grew up a few miles up the road. Now that I live two towns over, this is still my go-to spot for anything home/hardware-related. Super friendly and helpful staff and well stocked for a local hardware store. They carry most everything I need to complete all the odd jobs around the house. And on the rare occasions when they don't have the exact thing I need, they have a knack for engineering a solution from what they do have. Regards, A very satisfied, lifetime customer.”
“The store was clean and neat, although there was an overwhelming odor of cat pee in there. I found the tool I was looking for, although it was $5 more then the advertised price online. In the past, at harbor freight stores, the employee at the register what often look to see if there were any online coupons for the item purchased. That did not happen at this store either.”

“Try this at Home Depot: I went over to Rockland county, New York, to help an 86 year old lady friend install a new mailbox. It sounds easier than it is, as hers was attached to 2 metal pipes, sitting in between other mailboxes. Rusty bolts and all that. Just getting the ancient one off was a task. After planning and measuring, we went to a neighborhood hardware store and bought a mailbox, but it turned out that they did not sell the wood we needed for the base. So we went to Beckerle in Congers. The man behind the counter treated my friend so kindly. He went to the back and found an old scrap piece of wood that fit under the mailbox. Plus, he helped me source the big screws and washers. He spent good long time with us to assure that we had what we needed, patiently and extraordinarily helpful. All that for $1.98. It was good old-fashioned service with a smile. I was impressed that there are still stores like this where customer service is top level, even if the actual profit is virtually zero. This place is the best of the best. Shop there!”

“Herb Lack Paints is a Nyack family owned business. Joseph along with his wife and son are a fixture in the Village Nyack business district.. Don't be fooled by the Paints they have have a lot more than paints. They have a great supply of Benjamin Moore paint, and do custom blending as well. They also repair screens there, and any copy of a key they have made for us always works. Their inventory includes everything from Gorilla glue to snow shovels. The family is incredibly helpful. Highly recommend a visit.”
