“The staff at Bardonia Pharmacy truly have impressed me. I was a customer at CVS for years and began having issues with the service about a year and a half ago. I’ve been coming to Bardonia Pharmacy for a bit over a year and am pleasantly surprised at just how excellent their employees are. I have yet to experience any real issue with prescriptions, and they always go the extra mile. I’ve dealt with a few different employees and still haven’t had a bad visit!”
“This pharmacy is a breath of fresh air. I was with PillPack by Amazon Pharmacy for many years. While the individual packets were extremely convenient, every time I needed to add or change a medication I was met with a ton of bureaucracy and back and forth between the pharmacy and my doctor to get all of their questions answered before my medication would be filled which could honestly take days severely delaying my care, not to mention I still have to wait for shipping.
After a situation where I desperately needed to start a new medication so I could feel like myself again and PillPack wouldn't fill it without talking to my doctor I contacted New City Pharmacy as I had an email from my doctor confirming that I was supposed to take this new drug alongside my existing one. They were extremely helpful in transferring my prescriptions from PillPack and had my new medication ordered and filled within a day. They then reached out to all of my doctors to get 90 day supply scripts for all of my various medications and helped me synchronize everything so they'll all renew at the same time.
The staff is extremely polite, they answer the phone right away every time I have to call which is rare these days especially when comparing to CVS or Walgreens who many times have you waiting 20-30 minutes. Now CVS doesn't even answer the phone and directs you to voicemail unless you pretend to be a prescriber, and in that case you still may get voicemail. I normally am in and out of the store with my meds in under 10 minutes, usually closer to 5.
This pharmacy is a huge breath of fresh air and I will never be going back to a big box or mail order pharmacies, mom and pop shops are the way to go!”
“After severely injuring my foot, I had to wear a special shoe for 2 months. This pharmacy is right down the street from Dr, a real pharmacy with medical supplies, small and not retailing a whole bunch of non - medicinal products. I appreciate that.”

“The Pharmacist Maria is exactly who you want on your team! She knows the industry and how the insurance system works…even the shortcomings of them.I had an issue with a regular prescription (monthly) and for some reason, it was not going through insurance this time. Insurance company had some screwup internally…and was yet to be sorted, but I was out of meds. She was able to get me through a few days while insurance nonsense was resolved.Nothing against CVS/Walgreens but Wegman’s wins with this department…even if their hot bar is $15.99/pound. ??”

Staff here is pretty decent, most times you’ll need a manager for even the slightest pricing difference/ issue, kind of weird.
The only reason the pharmacy is not a 5/5 is due to the hours, and the unreliability of their drive thru pharmacy hours/ closures.

I just had the most disgusting experience with a member of their pharmacy.
She says her name is olivia, when I inquired. This woman is literally a nightmare to speak to.
She kept asking me the same question over and over again, and each time I answered and tried to answer, she yelled she understands.
This woman then went on a rant, and lashed out at me. Eventually I had to ask her why is she so angry? When she continued, I cussed her arse out too.
Her behavior was disgusting!
06/23 update: this store is definitely back to their usual frustrating ways, it was a good run while it lasted.

“I've been going to this particular ShopRite in Pearl River New York for over eight years. I give this establishment five stars the area that's located that only has a good amount of space but also it has a great small little food court area for people to be able to actually have prepared food and the diversity of cuisine that you can really choose from. The separation of organic and non-organic fruits and vegetables is well organized. I truly have enjoyed the small little bakery area as well as I've been able to enjoy the kind and efficient employees that work there as well too. I am also very happy to see how well they establish Meadow ShopRite has changed over the years going from its traditional cash register to know the touchpad and cashier free checkout service. The customer support team is very helpful so my overall view is four stars the only thing I would ask is that if they could be able to make more space for people to be able to move through the isles that would be very helpful.”

“Great local business. The store is well stocked with anything you might find in a chain pharmacy. The pharmacy counter in the back is efficient and they have an excellent automated phone system for calling in prescription refills, which even offers delivery. Really pleased! The music inside seems to always be 90s alt, grunge, and punk rock, it doesn't really bother me but it struck me as just kind of odd once I noticed it seems to be on every day. But hey, people need to make it through their work day somehow!”

“My husband was on hospice and this pharmacy delivered all his meds. They did an excellent job for the 11 months on hospice. I also would like to take this opportunity to thank the gentleman that delivered his meds. He was professional and an extremely kind man. I wish I knew his name. He is truly an asset to the pharmacy.”
“This is my new favorite pharmacy! I've been going to CVS for years but they have had a hard time filling my scripts lately and their text message system is barely accurate, so my doc recommended Haas. So thankful she did! I had no idea how much I was missing that personalized experience. The pharmacist is funny and helpful and just really down to earth. He called my docs directly to make changes or clarifications and they had some items in stock that have been on backorder at other pharmacies for months. They have a great system that sends texts for updates and when scripts are ready, and allows you to pay right through the link before picking up. The drive thru and convenience store aspects are also pluses. So happy to finally have a great local pharmacy!”

“This pharmacy has exceeded my expectations. It is just a pleasure to deal with them. When my husband first picked CVS in target I was a little annoyed having to go in there the parking, it’s not the easiest pharmacy, especially with no drive-through. However, after being here for the past year, the pharmacist, I think his name is Uday, Dave.( If I am wrong, he is the main pharmacist there) He is just amazing. He is kind, patient, helps you when you actually need the help, it’s like being at a small, local, family owned Pharmacy. I can say nothing but amazing things about this pharmacist.”
“3.5: I'm a fan of Costco in general over some of the other wholesale places like BJs. This one is decent. Not everything that you buy is cheaper at Costco but if you're looking for bulk items, the price is usually pretty good. Just do a little research first, if money is an object. They have electronics, jewelry, auto, household goods, perishable foods, clothing, snacks, cleaning products, appliances, a butcher, seafood, pharmacy, food court and more. Food court can get busy too; many come for the hot dog deal. This one also has a gas station. They have some organic produce and other foods but wish they had more. This place gets packed around snowstorms, holidays and special events so it's not much fun especially with the big carts and rude patrons at times. Not all staff is friendly. Walk around and you'll likely encounter samples to try. They also have a generous return policy.”
