Always great! Wonderful enclosed room glass they built! Doubled the size and very pretty. Server had some trouble understanding the order and we had to fix it but once it came, all was delish! We do miss Appetit Bistro! Glad we can still get some of our favs at Capers!

We eat here a few times a year usually with a group of friends. It was snowy last night and this is close so it was the go-to place. They are consistently great with food and service. And even on a cold night we were in the patio room which is a heated glass patio. The cauliflower appetizer was great as usual. Dinners were Chicken Martini, Steak Frittes, Bolognese, Shrimp and Seafood Linguine. All were very good.

We were served bad fish. Smelled less than fresh the second it landed on the table. Took a small bite anyway to try and had to spit it out. Hardly got an apology. You would think out of courtesy they would have offered coffee or something but no. How could they not smell the fish was bad when they cooked it??? Never returning to this place

I have been here at least three times and I have never been disappointed! Tonight's meal was so unbelievably delicious! I normally don't add comments to open table but tonight's dinner was really really great! All 4 of us loved what we ordered including the appetizers.

We went early on a Friday evening and the place was empty. We were greeted at the door and seated immediately. We were treated wonderfully by the staff throughout the meal. The food was tasty and the portions were good. The prices were high for most items.

Their steamed clams appetizer is so tasty, especially with the garlic and pepperoni. Steak frites was delicious with the arugula. The frites were hot and fresh but with a coating that filled the flavor. The branzino was nicely prepared simply grilled. This is one of our favorite “go to” restaurants. We will return soon.

We went there to celebrate my mom's 98th birthday. She's in a wheelchair. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The food was delicious. We asked for some things prepared differently than on the menu and it was no problem. We love coming here. It was quite so it's easy to have a conversation.

Food was very good, solid. We sat in the bar area that has a nice glass roof. Although the weather was dreadful it would be even nicer when the weather is good. The food is really a cross between Italian and Mediterranean. The only thing I don't recommend is the cappuccino. It was pretty bad. Came out of a breville machine. But other than that I would recommend it to anyone in the area.

We wanted to try a new spot and this restaurant did not disappoint! It was a Tuesday night so it was light on customers but the staff were great. I had an appetizer that I've never had before (wontons stuffed with potatoes in a tasty sauce). That alone will have me coming back! Our entrées were very good as well and dessert topped it off nicely. The bread was soft and the dip for it was very good too. We will be back again and again, guaranteed ?.

I am surprised that there not many diners on Tuesday evening. The food is so good here. Split the appetizer of a full portion of their mushroom ravioli with peas. For main courses, the swordfish was done perfectly, not rubbery as many restaurants do. The highlight was the special of linquine with real decent sized clams, with a linquica and garlic, done perfectly al dente. Good sized portions. No room for dessert. looking forward to our next visit.

I absolutely love the Caesar salad here, especially the little white anchovies. I cannot go to capers without ordering the Caesar salad whether I eat it there, or I take it home. Wonderfully casual place to have a nice quiet dinner. A small parking lot, but i've always found a parking space available. (Unlike Greenwich Avenue)

Everything we ordered was excellent. I especially liked the mushroom ravioli and the apple tart dessert, which the waiter recommended. One person in our party of 4 has a number of dietary restrictions and the waiter and chef could not have been more gracious in accommodating, making him a meal not on the menu without hesitation. Although they have a full bar, you can bring your own wine, which i would not have known if the other couple dining with us had not told us. My only negative comment is that the interior of the restaurant feels basic and almost a bit like a cafe rather than the nice restaurant that it is.

We've been dining at Capers since before it was Capers!! Not sure it's the same owners - Cafe Mirage was the name before. Anyway it's a “go to” for us - always a delicious meal. Thank you
