Costco Pharmacy is a location that customers like, describing the staff as super friendly, happy to assist, extremely welcoming, and one of a kind. Many employees are familiar faces, which is seen as a sign that management is doing something right. The store is noted as clean and well organized. Specific departments receive praise: the bakery department, especially for its croissants and pizza dough, is called the best, and the tire department staff is noted as professional and a pleasure to work with, providing quick service. However, some challenges are noted. Checkout lanes are sometimes long, though employees, described as busy bees, try their best to move people along. There is a desire for more checkout people, as self-checkout does not work for some. The food court experience has been inconsistent, with reports of employees not providing straws while others received them, leading to feelings of biased treatment, though managers have apologized. Some customers express disappointment that the company no longer carries certain products like Lloyd's BBQ ribs and wish for more organic and ethnic Asian food items. A wine section is also missed, though this is acknowledged as likely a state issue. While most employees are seen as hard-working gems, interactions with some other customers can be stressful, with reports of would-be altercations. Overall, despite some operational frustrations and product disappointments, the pharmacy and store are supported by a team of friendly and dedicated staff.
April was very friendly and provided great service. I recieved a text when my prescription was ready as she said I would. There was another women in the phone the week before who I didn’t catch her name- she was also very thorough and friendly.
