There is no way they bake the semita or anything fresh. I wanted authentic hispanic desserts and what a mistake it was to walk into this place. I grew up spoiled! My beautiful mom made everything from scratch- a true salvadoreña! I usually give businesses a break because no one will ever come close to how she cooked and baked. However, this semita was pure sand and salt. It tasted like ocean water. I am truly surprised how much traffic this place has in the morning.

I like them for the coffee when are machine breaks down we all head here because it's the closest one to us. They have a couple of tables for a quick breakfast that is made to order. They have also expanded to the neighboring store front where they have more tables and I believe they have table service too. I only had their coffee, but they are extremely busy doing the morning. This hasn't happened to me but I've been told that they don't charge the same price for everyone. So that's something to think about. I haven't seen it but my friend said that they charged her more when I wasn't with her then she was by herself. So I did take a star away from them for that.

I looked on Yelp for someplace to grab breakfast near the train station in Port Chester & this came up so we have a try. Three stars because of the limited breakfast options. The breakfast sandwich of egg, sausage & cheese was fine. Neither bad nor great, simply a sandwich of egg, sausage & cheese. The place is mostly Latin American offerings & a little later in the day I would have definitely opted for some of those but I was set on breakfast. No frills in decor. There is a bakery on the other side of the joined storefront that seemed to be doing brisk business of coffee & baked goods. The staff was friendly & helpful. I guess I would not call it a breakfast place. At least by traditional American standards but certainly suitable if you're out to grab a quick sandwich.

Wonderful bakery. Clean, good amount of tables and lots of natural light. Most pastries are mildly sweet, but all are fresh (at least i infer so by how many orders they got in the time i was there, and how many pans of freshly baked goods i saw coming out of the ovens. The service is quick, pleasant and everything seems fairly priced. Per the owner the place has been in business over five years. They lost one star from me for making me make my own coffee.
