United Transmission has helped us out in more ways than one. The owner, Mike is one of the kindest and most honest people out there in this kind of business today. You will not find anyone who will be more willing to help you out when you need it. Although he only works on major jobs for trucks nowadays, as I mentioned; he has helped us out of so many jams with our vehicles. He is very knowledgeable in his field of expertise and his willingness to help is immeasurable. I can't agree with the review below written by Jay M. but I do know that I trust United Transmission with all of my vehicles if they accept them.

To do alignment in my truck was a range between $125.00 (Mamaroneck shop)and $190.00 (another Port chester), when I was estimating the price, the owner told me "$150.00 for alignment"; All the ball joints were already replaced in another shop that didn't have the machine for alignment, also, I left 2 new camber bushes in case if they need to replace. When I went to pick up the truck the guy came with a $617.41 bill. I try to explain that the price was ridiculous high and he brought the price to $450.00+tax, in end I paid $483.19 to just alignment the front wheels. More than double of the most expensive price that I had. Be aware, don't trust in words of mouth or you will have a surprise when the bill comes. By the way, looking under the truck I didn't see any sign that they adjusted any thing, still rusted the same way as before, just look the pictures posted

Vehicle would not drive in reverse, asked what could it be, he wanted to replace the transmission after it had just been replaced here, he wanted another thousand dollars, I took the vehicle to his competition, all the vehicle needed was a pint of fluid. The car now drives excellent.
