I’ve never experienced such incompetence, cluelessness, and bad customer service experience EVER. I went to the store to purchase an appliance package (4 major appliances). After spending there 1.5 hour and 3 associates huddling around one computer, Home Depot associates weren’t able to place my order. So I went home and placed my order online. The order was placed on February 19 and scheduled for delivery on April 1 because one of the items was on back order. After calling Home Depot 5 times asking them to provided insurance letter required by my building management, yesterday I find out that the order was actually canceled. BUT I get no email notification. Money is taken out from the account 1 month ago. And if I didn’t keep calling regarding the insurance liability letter, I wouldn’t even know that the order was cancelled. Only achieved the resolution this morning after 4 hours spent on the phone. Never again!

Home Depot itself is fine, but customer service at this location is practically nonexistent - I’m writing this review from the parking lot where I’ve been waiting for over 30 minutes (edit - now it’s almost an hour)for my pick up order to be brought out.

First thing Park up near the garden center never down by the front. Got a nail in my right front tire. All the construction people parked down that way and all sorts of debris winds up on that side of the parking lot which I never knew. Second of all you can never get anyone to help you. When you see somebody and ask them they always say I'm on my way to help somebody else or you'll have to ask somebody on the next aisle I don't know about this stuff. Thirdly watch what you pick up as far as prices go. For instance if you're looking at tile or a mirror or a faucet you see the display. That shows you a price. Then you go down to one of the bins below to get that item and it says a specific price. What you don't know is someone has moved them around and what you think you're buying for $50 is now going to cost you $100. They don't monitor and straighten and straighten up their shelves so that the item you want is in the right bin with the right price. Which makes going to Home Depot very disappointing.

I have seen numerous Home Depot’s, please take my word, this place is so bad it’s like a sick joke. By far the worst Home Depot I have ever been to. I am a local contractor to this Home Depot, I. I have been a patron for over a decade and have regrettably spent 10s of thousands of dollars here. I am familiar with all of the staff and the store itself. Please, for the love of god, believe me when I tell you that the service, staff, lack of stock and even the overall cleanliness of this Home Depot is consistently the worst I have ever seen not only from a Home Depot franchise but literally from any retail store I have ever been to. It never seizes to amaze, this is quite literally the worst place to spend your time and money. Stamford Home Depot is so much better, and the staff so much more helpful and kind, it’s as if they exist in different centuries. Avoid this place at all costs.

This Home Depot is the absolute worst I’ve experienced, and I’ve been to about 50+.To say the staff is lethargic is an understatement, and with one or two checkouts open for what I assume is due to a rampant theft issue is ridiculous. We were stacked up 20 people deep, and the locals said it was typical. I headed to Yonkers for my next round of materials and placed my 20K window order in Harrison. The WORST!

If you want Customer service you have come to the wrong place. I wanted to rent a carpet cleaner and I was told to wait in line at RETURNS. It made no sense, but why would HOME DEPOT care about customers or what makes sense. USELESS.

The staff that works at this store really elevates your experience to go to Home Depot. Betsy and Ravalier went out of their way to help me pick a grill and other items and also helped me maneuver everything in my car. They really made my day!

I have never experienced such horrible customer service than Home Depot. I ordered a set of shower doors on line and they were delivered at 10 PM in front of my garage door. They were very poorly packed and when I had someone try to move them in the garage the box fell apart. I requested a pickup for credit. It is over a week and they still have not given me a pickup date. I would never purchase any large item from this company. Clearly they do not understand Customer service.

All I see is people standing around doing nothing. There’s maybe three people in the whole store that actually do something. The shopping carts are very limited for ones that have wheels. Only three big carts for plywood. They also have no wheels left.Material on shelves are a mess and good luck finding anything.

This Home Depot racially discriminated against my boyfriend and I (Couple of color). We came into Home Depot to buy a Recycling Garbage bin, citronella candles, and pipes to replace a bathroom sink. In all we had 5 items between both of us. When going to checkout we used the self checkout. My boyfriend rang up the 2 bathroom sink replacement kits under one order which he paid with his credit card and received a receipt. The next order which I rang was 3 items (recycling garbage bin, and 2 mosquito repellents) which I paid for and received a receipt. When walking up to the register the female worker came right over to watch our transactions. Once we both paid and were exiting walking towards our vehicle we were chased down and stopped by a female employee saying that we did not pay for all our items. We showed the woman BOTH receipts and all the items that were purchased. She insisted that we needed to go back inside the with our purchases and confirm with the initial female employee who watched us rang everything up. This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and I will never shop at this location again! Before accusing paying customers that they DID NOT pay please make sure your employees are sure of this accusation!

The only thing that this Home Depot has in stock is the worst retail experience of your life. Avoid this place at all costs. If you need a hardware store in the Port Chester area, go to Ace on Main Street in Port Chester, they're incredibly helpful and generally have everything you need. If you require lumber, go to Interstate or Ring's End. I've wasted too much time at this Home Depot, never again!

I made an online order on homedepot.com. They delivered the items to my house today. After I checked everything, some items are missing from the order. So I contacted the Depot store Port Chester which is responsible for delivering my items. The lady on the phone rudely said the missing items are out of stock. I had no knowledge of that until I spoke with her on the line. Can you believe that? I never got a phone call or email saying that some items gonna be missing. I told her I paid $79 for express delivery. Now I have to pay an additional $79 dollar to reorder the missing items. I asked her if she could get someone from higher management to give me a refund. She refused to offer any helps. And she said if I want I have to return everything to them to get back my $79. Since some items I ordered are very large, I cannot bring them back to the store. So I asked if she could ask someone from higher management to pick them up for no fees. She refused to give me any advices or helps. I am so sick of this right now. I hope everyone who experienced the same situation like I did to speak up against Home Depot by filing Federal Trade Commissions complaints. We should make our voices heard.

I was there back in January to set up a kitchen design. I had them come in feb 8 to take measurements and have been awaiting to hear back with a design and pricing. Measurements were submitted Feb 11 and after a week I still hadn’t received any information. I called several times and emailed but had not heard back. Today I went to the store to find out what was causing the delay and was told the girl I was working with had a family emergency. Understandable. I asked to s
