“I frequent this store often, and a man named Anthony is SO helpful. I’ve been asking for a paint book and yesterday before I left he found one and ran out to my car before I left to bring it to me! His customer service was above and beyond!”
“Went to buy a polyurethane coating for the window box. The salesman was so knowledgeable and told us about the extra things we might need to do a door DIY job. They offered a little discount. Shared with us about the icecream place around the corner and was altogether super nice and super helpful ?”
“The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everyone at the store was courteous and open to answer any query. I had been having problem fining one rod for which i had tried home depot few times but could not find a solution. Here the staff patiently looked into the problem I was having, finding the right rod i needed, to assemble my table. They were able to find a solution! I am so grateful to them. I have been there to find products for other issues and always found the right product.”
“I needed to get some paint and stopped in to Village Pain on a whim. Bobby was so nice. I was trying to get the perfect gray. He patiently listened to me explain exactly what I wanted. He showed me several different chips and after an hour we found it! My family room is warm and inviting - Thanks Bobby and Village Paint for your patience.”

“We have been shopping at Wallauer’s in Eastchester for a long time. They have a wonderful array of products. But what makes it extra special is the attention we get from Jackie in the decorating section of the store. She is very knowledgeable and is always sensitive to our needs. We can highly recommend her.”
“Huge thanks to my generous host Dawn Calle who supported me in ways big and small. It means everything. I’ve been painting with Farrow & Ball paints , and sharing my work in the place where it was created made this moment even more personal and unforgettable. From amazing environment to an unmatched energy above the upper echelon of unmatched class and grace, Farrow and Dawn, hosted an amazing art experience.”
“Five stars for Cathy at Brinkmann’s in Glen Cove! I had a wonderful experience working with Cathy while choosing paint and supplies for my basement. She took the time to help me select just the right shade of gray, and she didn’t stop there. She also made sure I had the correct rollers, handles, and other accessories I would need to get the job done properly. What impressed me most, though, was Cathy herself. Her personality was truly above and beyond. She was knowledgeable, patient, genuinely helpful, and had an infectious smile that made the entire experience enjoyable. You never felt rushed or like you were simply another customer. She made you feel as though helping you get everything right actually mattered to her. Employees like Cathy are the reason people remember a store and choose to come back. Brinkmann’s Glen Cove has an absolute gem in Cathy. Outstanding customer service, great knowledge, and an attitude that represents exactly what customer service should be. Thank you, Cathy, for making my basement project start off on the right foot! “When someone can turn something as ordinary as buying paint into an experience worth remembering, you realize exceptional customer service is not really about the products being sold. It is about the person who made you feel valued while helping you choose them.””
“LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Veronica is the most amazing salesperson. I showed her a photo of a fabric and she matched it within 5 minutes! She really treats you like family. She is better than interior designer and so is honest. You will thank me!”
“I have been shopping at KRB for years at this location, and the prior location. It is a local family business and It pretty much has all of the things you could have purchased at Brewers before they shut down. I fully understand why all the contractors love this place - it has most of what you need, the prices beat the big box stores, you can get in and out quickly and the store is very well organized. If you are doing any kind of repair to your home, they likely have what you need. For any kind of painting project, they pretty much have everything you would find in a paint store, but cheaper They also have every cleaning supply you can imagine, including the commercial stuff. The staff has always been friendly and helpful with advice when I need it.”
“Been here a few times to get paint for woodworking projects. It's not a huge store, but they have a wide selection of paints. The staff has always been friendly and helpful getting me what I need. I go here instead of the big box stores because the service is better and it's much faster to get what you need and get out.”
“In the middle of a pandemic service was good. Not being able to enter the store wasn't the best way to pick colors. Overall the staff/manager were professional and my curbside pickup was timely.”
“I stopped by Wallauer’s in New Rochelle yesterday and had such a great experience. Dilan and Josh were amazing, they really went out of their way to help me and made everything super easy. Both of them are so professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The store itself is always stocked with everything I need, which makes shopping here a pleasure. Congrats to the whole team for the great service, I’ll definitely be coming back.”
“Thank you Shy!!! I went in on the Sunday after Thanksgiving looking for a powerful wood glue that was difficult to find, and Shy went the extra mile for me by finding out just what I would need for my project! I appreciate it! The store is small and had your basic hardware items neatly arranged, but it's the extra service that gets the 4 stars. Thanks again!”
“George was incredibly helpful in guiding me through my project with clarity and confidence. He not only helped me create a solid plan, but also presented multiple creative solutions that I hadn’t considered. His ability to match the right strategies with fantastic products made the entire process feel seamless and effective. I felt supported every step of the way, knowing I had someone truly invested in solving the problem. If you’re looking for someone who brings both insight and results, George absolutely delivers.”
“I am very impressed with the service I received today. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Sorenson Lumber will be my go-to hardware and lumber store going forward.”
“I love this store - knowledgeable and helpful staff, great selection, I always get what I need efficiently - easily the best paint store in Southern Westchester!”
“This store has designers to guide you through the task of finding the perfect paint color, wallpaper, fabrics, and window coverings. I went in to choose wallpaper for an accent wall. They had hundreds of wallpaper books, it was overwhelming! Laura, one of the designers, asked what I was looking for, she pulled out several books for me to view right away. She listened to what I was trying to achieve and helped coordinate the paint colors. I sent photos of my kitchen and bathroom. She advised on paint color in kitchen and wallpaper design for the bathroom. She was spot on everything! Looks amazing! Laura has a great sense of style and trust her choices! Looking forward to working with her when I do the rest of my house.”
“As a female walking in to this store with no idea of the paint industry the staff was very supportive and helpful in assisting me with picking out a bathroom paint. They gave me a few swatches to look at and some recommendation. I did not feel pressured in picking a color the same day. I returned the next day with my choice and they were just as helpful as the day prior. The quality of the pain is great!”
