I spoke with the vet for the first time about getting my kittens first shots done. He greeted me by asking me what i wanted and began to list the prices… THANKS I’ll go somewhere else.

My father has been taking our family dog to Dr. Levy for the past few years, so when I got my own I knew where to take him. All of the staff are incredibly nice and honest. I know our dogs are in the best care with Dr. Levy.

I am absolutely angry and concerned with the poor treatment my dog received under the so-called care of Dr. Levy. After leaving my pup for a simple spaying procedure at 9:30 am, I was left in the dark for three hours without a single update. Upon calling to check on my dog’s progress, I was informed that not only had she been left waiting for all that time, but they hadn't even started the 30-minute procedure. Unbelievable.Despite their assurances that they would take her in immediately, I get a call after 40 minutes from Dr. Levy admitting that he had put my dog under anesthesia before realizing that he didn't have the adequate tools to carry out the surgery. How can a supposedly professional veterinary clinic be so inept and careless? Not only did this turn out to be an unnecessarily traumatic experience for my dog, but when I went in to try and get some answers as to what was happening, Dr. Levy treated me with nothing but apathy and discourtesy. Refusing to let me see my dog, and brushing off my concerns with nary a care in the world.Fast forward to the end of the day when I came to pick up my dog - did they bother to let me know that she'd woken up from the anesthesia at any point? Of course not.Even worse, when I asked for a copy of her medical file, Dr. Levy was outright obstinate and unhelpful, insisting that I come back another day for what was three pages of information.Absolutely unacceptable. I am beyond worried about the quality of care provided by this supposed "professional" and would not dream of recommending Dr. Levy to anyone looking for competent, reliable care for their beloved pets.

Reception was courteous but Dr. Levy was incredibly rude over the phone and uninterested in helping a very kind and needy stray cat, doesn’t seem like a viable choice for immediate animal recuse. Clearly the other bad reviews are accurate. Avoid this place like the plague.

My pup has been a patient since Dec 2021 when he was eligible to get a check up and his first round of shots. Dr. Levy only takes cash (keep this in mind for later into the review).Recently, my pup had to get neutered. We went in for his bloodwork and dr levy left him with razor burns. I called front desk a few days after bc my pup was very uncomfortable, running around and grazing his body against all furniture because he was so itchy. He wasn't eating, drinking water, or playing. I called in the morning and dr levy says to put cortisone on it, it'll be fine. The cortisone was rubbed off while my pup was running around acting abnormal. I call front desk back explaining the situation as the blood withdrawal area was red, swollen, and itchy. This was at 11am. Front desk calls back and asks if I can come at 4:30pm in the most nonchalant tone. I was confused because I was not going to let my pup suffer like that on a hot day. I ended up running to the Vet emergency that took care of him but gave him an antibiotic and antihistamine for his hotspot like wounds. He had to be on meds for 7 days in the sweltering heat. I was billed $300. Dr levy calls while I'm at the ER saying he feels bad and would've told me to come in (yea, if front desk relayed the urgency of the situation to him) and wouldn't have charged me, how nice! After this situation, I decided to switch vets to a practice closer to home. They tell me that none of his vaccines had been administered properly since he was a few months old! There's a regulation that bordetella needs to be given with the flu vaccine, that wasn't done. Boosters weren't given for other vaccines, or were given too many weeks after what would be considered effective.I originally wasn't going to write a review on the situation I first explained, but this call with his new vet just made me livid. The new vet also says there are low cost alternatives for the monthly heart worm and tick and flea meds my pups been taking. I was never told this. I was never told about any of the vaccine boosters my pup missed. Dr. Levy had my pup running around with other pups unvaccinated.I'm only 23, not loaded with money by any means, but trusted this doctor to keep my pup well and would give close to $200 per visit in cash for vaccines/bloodwork visits. These vaccines are normally around $60! Ridiculous. Now we have to restart all vaccines to have my pup protected. I always knew places like this that only took cash were sketch but I came here through a referral. Learned my lesson the hard way.I am so done with this practice and the way too nonchalant staff inside it. I've been giving dr levy my hard earned money in CASH in exchange for nonchalant attitude, malpractice, and straight up negligence. I rarely write reviews like this, anyone else would've sued.

The most rude and unattentive staff i have ever seen with my two eyes. Had to of picked random people of the street and told them to come work for free. Dr. Levy could not tell the difference from left and right. I would sooner bring your pet to a homeless shelter than putting this senile idiot around your pets.

I started using Dr. Levy a few years ago when I adopted a cat and I am very pleased. Credit cards not being accepted is very inconvenient and dated but Dr. Levy and his team are great.
