“We recently had our company's annual picnic at Serafresca at the Italian Center, and I must say it was another fantastic event for the third year in a row! The venue, as always, was perfect—beautifully maintained and providing a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

Their attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and exceptional service truly made the day memorable. The picnic wouldn't be the same without their dedication and hard work. “Great time here at the Rock Club.Purchased a Groupon and decided to visit on a Friday morning. Called ahead and the front desk staff were very quick in getting back to me to confirm that a belayer was available at that time. They also confirmed the Groupon over the phone. I went ahead and completed the required waiver forms online prior to our visit.Adequate parking was available at that time. The Rock Club (downstairs) shares its space with a with a tennis club, so make sure you follow the ramp down toward the Rock Club entrance and NOT the stairs whih leads to the tennis club.We arrived at around 10am and it was fairly empty. The Rock Club staff explained the process and set us up with climbing shoes.We were then introduced to our belayer who was awesome. Over the next hour, we tried climbs ranging in difficulty. The wall heights range from about 35-40 feet and the peg placement and wall angles vary throughout the climbs, making some more difficult than others. We even had some time to try some bouldering. Our belayer was great at explaining techniques and technical terms. She was very patient and very encouraging...though not "pushy" at all.After we finished, the staff was nice enough to show us around to see what else was available at the facility: childrens area, common areas, training rooms and weight rooms.May go without saying...wear comfy clothes. As a regular gym-goer, but someone who has NOT climbed before, this was a welcomed challenge. Certain muscles, particularly the forearms and core, may not be part of the typical gym regimen...but are very important in climbing...that being said, I was definitely feeling it the next day.Overall we had a great experience at the Rock Club. We will deinifitely look into other classes.Kudos to all the staff members there.”

“Came here with my family. We enjoyed ourselves 100%. The location and grounds are beautiful. The animal and wildlife look happy and well looked after. I never imagined there would be otters here! My daughter loved that part as well as the playground, I loved the art gallery as well as paying a visit to the cows! It was a very enjoyable day!”

“I am so thankful for Emily and her entire team. The moment my son started to walk, I knew I had to enroll him in a gym class to burn out his toddler energy. Initially my son was very shy and took awhile to warm up to Emily but after a few classes, my son was running around the entire gym and having a great time. He learned to climb and go down the slide from the play gym. Emily and her team are so kind and genuinely love playing with the kids. I’m honestly sad that we are not able to continue since my son will be attending daycare soon. But I highly recommend for all the first time moms. It was such a safe and fun place for my son.”

We were greeted by the staff who quickly helped us settle in to set our balloon decor focal point for the family. The staff and other members of the club stopped in awe of our decor. They never seen anything like it. We're grateful to create beautiful decor that will always be in their family albums. Thank you to the Manager Javier for asking us back & Larchmont Shore Club for hosting us.”
“The New Dawn Foundation is a phenomenal organization that provided our spiritual group a space to host a retreat on Kabbalah. We rented the venue for just the weekend, and the volunteers (particularly Nnacy) who run this organization were very prompt to reply to any and all questions I had about the space leading up to our event. We comfortably hosted 14 people in the space, although this worked well because we knew each other going in and had a few couples sharing beds.Thank you New Dawn for all the work you all do in order to create affordable opportunities for young adults like us to engage in spiritual retreats! At the end of our time together participants went around in a Circle and shared gratitude, and so many people included the venue as something they were grateful to experience over the weekend.Can't recommend this venue enough. I'm attaching a sketch that one of our retreat participants drew of the stunning sunrise.”

“My 2 night stay in December 2023 was a good one. While the property is showing its age, they were beginning a property-wide remodel on the day I checked out. Upon arrival, the doorman and the front desk were courteous and helpful. As a Hyatt Globalist, I was upgrade to a suite, which was huge. The room was somewhat dated but clean and in good shape. Based on the remodel projection pictures, this hotel will be fantastic once the remodel is complete. I'd stay here again, even before the remodel. It'll be 5 stars once remodel is complete.”
“Good driving range, has trackman bays and very reasonable prices. Generally good conditions. Bays have heaters for the winter but they don't do much past a certain point. Would be nice if they had a better short game area, but overall very good outdoor driving range option very close to the city”

“Ocean is always 10 out of 10! No waterfront location on Long Island can compete with this perfect sunset setting! We come here frequently, and are always amazed at the level of service and attention. From the manager Mel to our server Brandon, everyone tries to make your dining experience special. The separate sushi bar adds a great option for those not in the mood for a big meal. The food options are diverse to please everyone in your group. Can't say enough about this place!”
“Close transportation and shopping. Lounge on the top floor with a great sunset view of the NYC area skyline. Free wine and snacks in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Some need updating. Starbucks coffee in the lobby, onsite dining and more options close by.
Rooms: Nice clean rooms. Slightly dated but great views.
Nearby activities: Shopping, dining, transportation
Safety: Staff close by the entrances. They are in and out of the area and parking. No issues in this area even into the late evening.
Walkability: 15 minute walk to historic downtown Stamford area. Same distance to the Hudson line Stamford station.
Food and drinks: Dubbing and drinks close by.
Noteworthy details: Fitness center, pool has been removed”

Bar / restaurant was perfect, room was clean and large, and staff has been exceptionally kind. I don't write a ton of reviews, but this place is worth it! Nice job and nice hotel.”
