“Cool and very large venue with tons of consignors. If you’re looking for unique items this is your place. However, this is not a thrift store so the prices will reflect that. Overall it wasn’t crowded, the atmosphere and decor is very nice. Staff is welcoming.”
“Really cool place, excellent service, great layout, and great finds. They specifically do not have any 'junk' type antiques, everything seems like it'll to be someone's liking. Be sure to check out their places in Newburgh as well---especially if you're into the Military History game like me.”
“Hoffman's barn will blow you away.
The prices are really good. And if it was made, you have a good shot of finding it there, you could spend a day there and still not see everything I love. The place I am a new fan and is well worth the trip. I recommend anyone looking for antiques or whatnot. give it a shot, you will become a fan too kudos. To the owner. You have a fan in me.I'm sure I will be back many times to spend more money.”
“Attended a workshop and painted an adorable laser wood cut bumble bee welcome sign! The owner and her assistant were friendly and helpful showing us techniques for painting! They offered beverages and snacks, too! The workshop was reasonably priced and all the supplies were provided and included!
I also made a purchase of some glassware they had for sale amongst their antiques/treasures!”
“What an amazing piece of sculpture this company sold me! I’m just so happy with it. For any one who is trying to buy something unique, beautiful and well crafted, this is the place to go to. I highly recommend this company for their quality products they sale. You will love it.Juan C GarciaAJC Building Maintenance”
“Amazing selection of vintage menswear. Prices are great too. If you’re looking for a nice piece, definitely worth a stop by! I will be back next time I’m in the area. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.”
“Quintessential Woodstock experience!
Amazing vendors with vinyl, candles, crystals, incense, tie-dye shirts, jewelry, fresh local produce, and all the bric-a-brac you could possibly want to browse.
It really gets roaring around lunchtime!”
“I had such a good time buying my new watch this weekend. The owner, Bruce, and his daughter were very generous with their time. As we were leaving, my partner said it’s probably the nicest jewelry store he’s ever been in and I agreed. I especially appreciated that I was able to buy a watch that I loved for under $200. They have a generous expanse of price points and beautiful, interesting pieces that would fit anyone’s budget and aesthetic inclinations.⌚️??”
“Judy and her team are the best. Always polite, kind, and respectful. Her inventory is top notch and can always find what is needed. Do yourself a favor and check them out!!!”
“This is one of the coolest stores I've ever been in in my life. I wish I had an entire floor of my house that I could decorate, because this is where I'd come...and I'm not the decorating type. THis place has such an amazing eclectic collection of artwork, old advertising, old sporting goods, display cases, books, old luggage, trophies, and so much more. I swear if my wife wasn't in charge of decorating our TV room, I would spend a LOT of money in Gargoyles. Check it out-the owner was super nice and she indicated she'd help find anything (within reason) you need...”
“Great little hidden gem in Kingston! Lots of interesting and unique handmade and artisan gifts, art, vintage finds, and tons of plants! The owners are awesome people, and their little dog is super cute. So glad I stumbled in!”

“Words cannot explain the antiques that are in this place.
If it's an antique and it was made, you probably find one here. You could spend a week looking through this place and not see everything that's there. I must see when in Kingston..”
“I spent an afternoon looking at everything in this antique store & found some amazing things. What a find! It was my first time & I’ll definitely be back. Dan was so friendly & fun to talk to, his booth had some great designer items with inexpensive price tags. My favorite piece was a Murano glass bowl. I also picked up some Kaws plastic toys & a gently used John Derain tray. So fun.”
“My friends and I really enjoyed coming here for the first time. It's way larger than you expect it to be, it seems to just keep going. Prices were typically higher, with a few cheap or at least reasonable priced things here and there. Like most collectors, I'm knowledgeable about the things I collect. While here I spotted a few different things I collect and found that generally the prices leaned on the delusional side, so I didn't get any of them. One of the cheap things I collect are swizzle sticks, I found a pack of three super generic, scratched and dirty common ones for $8, I could have died laughing, even really cool, highly sought after one's don't cost that much. The few items I did pick up were reasonable in price, but had all the other things I found been priced according to their actual worth, I would have happily spent more money. I just couldn't justify over paying for something I could get online and still pay less even with shipping. I will still come back again, I feel like this place is so large that it makes it worth coming just to hopefully score some good finds! And for people willing to pay more for the immediate satisfaction, there is just so much awesome stuff here.”

“The selection of goods from all over had us circling the store more than once. We kept finding new treasures and really had a hard time limiting what we purchased. The lady who helped us was such a peach. She was very patient as we looked over jewelry and pendants. I would highly recommend stopping in.”

“I really enjoyed my stop here. As with most antique shops in the Hudson Valley, the prices are higher than some other regions but I also found them to be better than many other shops in the region. Of course, it differs from vendor to vendor, too.
Items are well-displayed and there were some truly beautiful furniture pieces. If you're looking for high quality, gently loved furnishings, this is the place to go.”

“Great spot in the middle of Rhinebeck. The Beekman is full of suprizes and an historic destination unto itself. Food was ok (meh) and service in the Tavern was a but pretentious. Atmosphere was great.”

“This is one of my favorite places to shop in the area! They have a great range of clothes, accessories, houseware, novelty items, and more. There is good size inclusivity and the owner is always happy to make great recommendations. I have been going here for ten years and each time I see something I have never seen before. Don’t miss this place!!!”
“I work at the auction hall and I have knowledge of some of these reviews. Everyone makes mistakes... No business or person is perfect... And challenges of operating a small business sometimes don't allow return phone calls inline with todays world of instant gratification. Admittedly, the company definitely struggles with return communication sometimes, especially with people who are let's just say more intensive communicators. That said, many of the hateful reviews I have seen here paint a false picture of evil and cheating. I just want to point out that is not the case. The company doesn't cheat people, and wouldn't have been able to stay in business for almost 5 decades, and voted Best in Hudson Valley everytime Auction House was on the ballot, if they were cheating people. I'm not going to point out any one specifically, but I'd just like to say that a few of these posters have embellished and made mountains out of molehills or multiple posts under different names to try and hurt the company's image. Sometimes the market doesn't meet reasonable expectations for sellers, and it rarely meets unreasonable expectations. And all results are published publicly and available online so it is easy to verify what an item sold for. There is no trickery or cheating... It's not even possible when eveything is published publicly. And FTR there is no taking advatange of elderly or people who moved out of state. These are a grossly innacurate accusations. I have seen the company stand behind it's service and make right for anytime there is a mistake / accident / shortcoming. Sometimes even when the fault is not on the company. It would be nice if these reviews were vetted for accuracy. I am proud of the effort that I have seen the company put forth to be good stewards and treat buyers and sellers as best as possible and always in good faith. For that I am happy to give 5 Stars.”
“I visited this store last week and had an amazing experience! It is very quaint and nice inside, with lots to explore and see! The employee, Nora, was very friendly and helpful with any questions I had! The customer service was amazing, and there was so much to see! Can’t go wrong with a stop here!”
“Great antique store. Prices are refreshingly reasonable compared to the usual stores of this type; the owners/dealers are looking to move the antiques and not just weirdly display them forever. It’s well curated, the owner/employees are very friendly, and the shop is somehow classy and fun at the same time, not stuffy. I don’t think I’ve gone there yet without picking up some sort of random treasure.”
