“Dan and everyone at Dan’s Carpet and Blinds were incredibly patient, thorough, fast and kind through the whole process of getting new blinds for our bedroom.
This was our first time going through this process, and Dan was great at listening to what we were hoping to do and recommending options within our budget.
Installation was very easy and straight forward, and they even swapped out a blind that got damaged during shipping without us even having to say anything.

“I went into the New Hyde Park store and was politely greeted by a gentleman named Mark. I described what I needed and he guided me to a number of selections that would fit my needs.
He was very patient and really knew his products. I could tell I was working with someone who had many years of experience and knowledge. I didn't make a purchase at that moment as I wanted to get a second opinion from my partner, who has a much keener eye.
We went back this past Saturday and again Mark was incredibly helpful. I finalized the deal with Reese, who was also vert helpful.
I just wanted to let you know what an asset Mark is to your business. He's not super dynamic with a cape but knows his craft.”

“My contact with Color-age started with ordering samples of carpet for my L-shaped living/dining room. After narrowing down the samples to my first, second and third choices, I made an appointment to see Doris at the store in New Hyde Park. I also needed to paint the walls before the carpet was installed and I wanted all the work finished before my new furniture arrived. I had samples of my sofa and chair material and Doris helped me coordinate the carpet and paint colors with excellent suggestions. Then someone came to my house to measure for the carpeting and give me a quote for the paint job, the price of which I found to be on target with today's marketplace. Their painter, Miguel, did a fabulous job on the painting, as well as the prep beforehand, which included some crown molding needing repair and a wall in my hallway that needed fixing. He was fast, neat, and very courteous. Then the carpet people came with a crew of 5 men and the carpet was installed quickly. All-in-all I had a very good experience with this company and would use them again.”

“Duke and staff are amazing!!! This is coming from someone whose family business was flooring for over 40 years, but unfortunately my father past away and the business shut down. He has amazing remnants as well as top quality carpets such as Masland to choose from. So personable and prices are great!! His install staff are amazing as well. “My staircase runner and hallway had very dated carpet. They had an amazing selection to choose from. There was always someone to help me that was knowledgeable and patient. I was able to take some samples home so I could make a decision. The carpet came in quicker than expected. I really love the results and would highly recommend Allen Carpet.”

“There was a blood stain in a carpet in my office that a carpet cleaning company came to 'treat and clean' about three different times in one week. It never got the stain out so i went to Floors Unlimited to pick out a new carpet and explained the situation to the manager. He pushed me into buying 12$ worth of carpet cleaner foam rather then getting all new carpet and baseboard molding. He literally pushed me the save myself about 1,300$ and said he's really confident i won't need new carpet. The sales guys are beyond honest and trustworthy !! These guys are now my carpet guys forever !!”

“Pictures were great and are what initially sold me on purchasing this sofa, but the sofa actually looks better in real life. Took a slight chance going with this brand over some legacy North Carolina based furniture makers (ie Hooker, Hickory, Arhaus)—so far very impressed with the purchase.
