5726 NY-56, PotsdamOn a Friday night, was able to get a resv. for 5pm. The place was not busy at all but 45 minutes later it was packed. Beautiful evening but just chilly enough to keep most people indoors. Sitting on the waterfront there was fantastic. Our server was great, excellent margaritas! Order one of the specials, very fresh redfish etouffee which was amazing! My wife had the fish n chips, a large piece of haddock, great fries, and even better coleslaw. We walked away extremely pleased. Way to go Jake's!!

29 Maple Street, PotsdamGood Pad Thai. Thai Fried Spring Rolls are well cooked but very little filling. Wonton soup has a good amount of vegetables and was very warm but the 2 noodles are mid (douwy and hard - No sure it was cooked enough). No napkins on the tables, the ceiling lights are terrible but the place improved in the last few years (it had a terrible atmosphere the first time I came) . Vegetable pad Thai was very good but the eggs were overcooked (see burnt) Pad See-ew (with narrow noodles!) was very warm, the chicken was hard (probably overcooked) but over all good, Mango Curry w/brown rice lack flavor.
