66 Woodruff St, Saranac LakeAlthough Church Street Enterprises is best known as a feed store, it's not for that reason that I go there. They carry the best pellets in the area, sell them at the best price, and -- get this! -- DELIVER them to your house. For someone with a Honda Accord, this is a pretty good deal. They're extremely helpful and decent people, too. You can't go wrong here, whether it's pet food or pellets.

1087 NY-86, Saranac LakeHighly recommend VCA high peaks animal hospital!! We were driving into lake placid from out of state when our 15 1/2 year old yorkie had two seizures. We called here and they were about to close (6 pm Friday night). We explained our emergency and told them we were still about 20 minutes away and they said they would wait. Unfortunately, we had to put her down. They gave her fluids and made her comfortable so we could say good bye. They were very compassionate and loving. The closest other hospital open with emergency hours was an hour and a half away. We honestly don't know what we would have done if they did not wait for us. Thank you so much VCA High Peaks!!

The atmosphere and location are great, right on the river walk and a beautiful building with indoor and outdoor seating. They also have golf sims and a little merch store to check out. There was only one problem with my visit. When we arrived the hostess told us it would be about 30 minutes, which isn’t bad. It ended up being at least 70-80 minutes! Very far off from 30. Apparently there were 2 parties of 40 so that’s what took so long. Anyways, well worth the wait. The food was delicious, amazing pizza, apps and drinks, and our waitress was great. Overall a nice brewery in Saranac Lake to check out. Just be prepared to wait pretty long if it’s busy.
