I purchased a pair of sneakers at the Poughkeepsie location on December 8th 2024. I was told my sneakers would ship in 5-7 days. 7 weeks went by and no sneakers. So I went into the store to get my money back and the manager said you have to call the 1800 number. I said I bought them here so let me just have store credit I’ll get a different pair. He said no you have to call 1800 number. I said can you call for me. He fake called the 1800 number and I waited for an hour and no one answers he said. I walked out and called myself and they answered in 1 min. I said to the nice lady please mail me check for my refund as I never got my sneakers. She said no problem. I’ll mail the 130 to you next week. 2 weeks go by I get a check for 30 dollars. I call back and said where’s the other 100. They said oh we refunded your card. I said I used a gift card and clearly stated that tonthe last so they wouldn’t do that since I don’t have the gift card anymore. So mail me a check for the whole amount. I called back again they said they were gonna send me a e gift card in one week and 40 dollars in my account extra for all the terrible customer service. I waited 3 weeks I never got that either. Called back today and the lady said she has no recollection of that phone call and she will try and refund my gift card that I threw out the day of purchase. I also was on the phone her today for over an hour. This has been the most pathetic customer service I have ever seen. I’m also in retail and I would never treat a customer this way. Not once did anyone even say hey would you like to have us just send you the sneakers you paid for instead of lying about my refund. Which all I reallly wanted was the sneakers the whole time. Really sad company that should be ashamed all the way around…in between my many phone calls I have been put on hold for ever. I have been hung up on and also told let em get my manager and also hung up on

I’ve never been to a store this unhelpful. On Sunday my boyfriend and I visited this location wearing my deceased mother’s Yankee hat. We made a purchased and left the store. Shortly after leaving I realized my mother’s hat was missing. We immediately returned to the store hoping to locate the hat. Sadly it was not there. We inquired about the hat and one employee went to the back room, came back out and said there was nothing in the back room. We went up to the register - same story. I reached out to my best friend who called the store. She too inquired about the hat because of the sentimental value. She was met with resistance. She then came to the store and spoke with the store manager. She asked if he would review the video footage to help find out what happened to the hat. The store manager refused stating they have a legal team who deals with these issues and to file a police report. When she asked for the phone number to corporate the manager told her she can find it on the company’s website and would not give her the number. I then called the store and the manager answered without a greeting. When I asked for corporate’s contact information he first said he did not have it. After a few moments f us going back and forth he offered a customer service number. I repeated the number for accuracy and was assured I had the correct number. Needless to say it was the wrong number. After some research I found the proper number and made a call. I’m currently waiting a callback. Today, my boyfriend returned to the store and was met with hostility. I will be filing a police report and hopefully will be able to get my hat back. Beware when going to this store. Don’t accidentally drop anything or leave anything behind because they will not help you get it back. Who knows perhaps one of their employees stole it??!!!! Just doesn’t make sense why there’s so much resistance. Stay away!!!

My daughter is a frequent shopper at the finish line store, therefore we signed up for the rewards program. She generates points as she completes purchases. Natli always declines her using her points on new Jordan releases, which is not the rules. I’ve complaint time and time again, cause she is the only one who carries thru with this nonsense. All the other employees here and as well as other stores know that being a member of the rewards club give you exclusive details on these same releases you can use your rewards on especially if your on the A-list. My daughter went today to get the low Jordan 11s and of course she called me saying the same woman told her she can not use her coupon, upsetting her. I called cooperate and they are opening an investigation because this is the only store we have a problem with, not Danbury nor Fordham. Hopefully she can be re-educated on the facts of the reward program, and look over the “exclusions” part. Had we ordered them only them online that exact same coupon would have work. I’m not quite sure why she does this, but it needs to stop.

I just went to this place to change my shoes that fit yesterday, and today I went for a larger size but the truth is that they disappointed me, a dark-skinned guy with a bad mood did not want to make the change and I will have to go back again tomorrow. It is awful that the employees are not empathetic and bitter. I do not recommend this place. Besides, there are several and they still do not serve them. 😡

I’ll never buy from here again. Employees are rude and not helpful. Managers aren’t any better. I’m better off shopping online elsewhere.

The cashier is very unhappy feeling, no polite greeting, no smile. It feels like you owe her a lot of money! I think maybe the owner didn't pay them in time.

Was just at this location .Finally was able to purchase a pair of air max.I tried on this $130 pair then waited on line for 25 minutes and that’s being nice on the time , only to get up there and the one sneaker I didn’t see when I tried on the other had a big scuff mark from toe to middle of sneaker and the clerk looked at them and tried to close the box.I did not purchase them and am very disappointed ☹️

Manager said they didn’t have a pair of shoes. Come to find out a couple of hours later shoes were on display and were sold out by the time I came back! Manager was extremely disrespectful and she should be fired asap!

Went to this store to purchase my boyfriend new shoes for his birthday. Immediately noticed the young lady that works there following us closely. We inquired as to why she was following us, and she stated that it was her first day and she was still trying to figure things out. Then, immediately following this interaction, we were approached by a male worker who stated he saw us going back and forth several times and wanted to know how he could help. He was nice, but we still decided to speak to a manager about the weird vibe. Unfortunately, we noticed that several white shoppers were not closely followed the way we were, and we made the manager aware of our concerns. He was apologetic. We decided on one pair of shoes, even though our intention was to buy three. Once we were at checkout, the girl behind the counter was very inattentive. If not for this being the only place in the mall that he found shoes he liked, I would not have spent $220 in this store.

Went to this location to return a Christmas present given to my daughter that she did not like . Went into the Poughkeepsie store with gift receipt and was told by the STORE MANAGER that unless I provide my email the return cannot be processed . Her exact words were “it won’t let me go into screen without your email “. I asked for store manager . Natli stated she was the store a manger and that she couldn’t do anything else for me . You cannot FORCE someone to provide and email . I also asked Natli if this is the kind of customer service she provides to customers and she smirked . I have emailed corporate and they stated they would be on it . I have not heard much back but I refuse to go back into this location if this is the type of service a store manager is giving .I asked Natli for the number to corporate and she was more than happy to give it to me and let me walk away from store unsatisfied. Sad to say but places like finish line with horrific customer service and management aren’t going to last much longer . I hope staff gets better training of what providing great customer service means .
