“I am from way upstate and when I travel to Poughkeepsie from the city I always try to stop and get a Stewart's Brownie or a slice or a burger. The Breakfast sandwiches are awesome. I always get a half and half Iced tea refresher. Helps me with my home sickness.

“Had prob one of the best experience... 1st time bringing my crv in I needed a new inspection they got me right in passed it went over everything with me and made sure it was in the notes so I could show my husband .. very professional and friendly no complaints and will so be back since I live with in walking distance incase I needed to.. thank you Larry and I believe I heard that was your son helping me .. both of you were awesome offering to bring my daughter and I to the park so we didn't have to wait but my daughter was content ... “Good old Gurjas. Pete is a nice guy. I go here now and then for this and that. Has a good selection if you don't want to go to a supermarket. The only downfall is the shitbags from the projects who come here to spend their welfare money. They put a stain on everything. I used to go here daily for beer, but scaled back my drinking after my third heart attack and 6th triple bypass. Now I just go every three or four days for a carton of Marlboros. Gotta live healthy and right.”

“TOTAL-31/2 stars rounded up. This little gas station is short on real estate but big on CONVENIENCE: Grab'nGo food and beverage options, and a gentleman with a lovely attitude earns 5 stars. LOCATION: Red Oaks Mills intersection at Spackenkill, Vassar, 376/New Hackensack. Deduct a 1/2 star for the inferior Dunkin' Donuts that is on site (which sells stale donuts and requires waiting in a second transaction and line). PARKING: Entering and exiting is tight and a bit complicated-careful. There is no drive through and very limited parking and the large. GAS PRICING: The day I visited, gas prices at the pump were 10 cents lower than three neighboring stations. RATE: Star reduction for the really tight parking squeeze and price sign that is often not working. In other words, you need to actually pull up to the pump to see the prices.”
“This is my neighborhood convenience store and it really is an asset to our little community. The employees remember the regulars' names and always go out of their way to ask how I'm doing and to greet me and my children regardless of how busy they may be. Also, in times of need, this store will look out for its hood ppl to help get over the bump in the road.. I've never even heard of a store extending credit to its regulars should they need it. All that and more make this store a wonderful place and I'm happy to be supporting them! Thank you!”

“Gas is cheaper here than pretty much every other gas station in the area ($2.99- let's be real gas is like $3.15 rn). Amazingggg deals on candies/drinks. Buy one get one free Core Power protein drinks is pretty legit. I noticed they have a huge coffee bar (different syrups, cinnamon, etc) I was very surprised to see such an equipped coffee station in a convenient store! The cashier was super friendly and suggested we get a Speedway card for even more deals. Highly suggest stopping in to pick up some munchies for cheap, conveniently across from the gym!”
