This bank charged me a fee for a negative balance bc of their delay in posting a deposit. That $100 deposit wasn't enough to cover the transaction due to THIER FEE so when another withdrawal came in the balance swung negative again. ANOTHER FEE!!!! I could not believe it. Then, when I spoke to the Poughkeepsie branch manager he refused to reverse both fees. He told me since it has been 6 days since the first fee hit, he was not going to reverse it.
Do not give these people your business. They do not care about customer satisfaction but hide behind policy. I will be contacting Trustco corporate to express my disgust. DO NOT FALL INTO THE SAME TRAP. Bank elsewhere. Trustco doesn't deserve your business.

I can’t say enough good things about the exceptional customer care I receive at Trusco Bank in Poughkeepsie. Daisy and Trish are the heart of this branch — always friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. Excellent service. I’ve had to come to this branch several times both on Saturday and during the week for special requests and each time they have been wonderful.Helping me out with printouts and answers to questions. Everyone was so helpful and kind, making the situation much easier for me.

Working with Samuel has been a breath of fresh air for us at TrustCo. He is willing to research to discover the "why" and "how" procedures work or don't work for us and then offers suggestions that bring results. Sam Mukollari was my loan officer for a recent home purchase, and I had a really great experience. I've used Trustco for three home purchases, and I really appreciate the personal attention and service that I receive. Sam was with me every step of the way, providing expert advice and advocating for me as needed. I always felt like I could call him or pop into the office to ask a question. It's that kind of customer service that keeps me coming back to Trustco. I like feeling like I have a friend who's helping me through the process.

We used Trustco for our original mortgage in 2013 and the process could not have been easier! Last year, Samuel Mukollari called us to inform us of refinancing rate changes. He was extremely helpful during that process and again, our experience was positive - it was done quickly and efficiently and Sam kept us informed of every step along the way. i just open up account from trustco bank and did sigh up for bill pay to make a payment but unforatunely trusco bill pay account has been currently locked i tried calling bill pay susport and i explain to them what happend and they said that my account has been frozen and they said there's nothing else they could so im gonna have to close trusco bank.

I typically visit the Poughkeepsie location and the staff there are fantastic! Darren (mgr) & Patricia are always smiling, knowledgeable & willing to help in any way they can. It's not just walking into any bank, it's visiting with the people in MY bank, who know my name, remember my kids, engage with me more than just walking thru the motions of a transaction. If you haven't been to this location, you should!
