“8 or 10 minutes from Grand Gorge where my hotel is, I head towards the store in Prattsville that I spotted on the internet. A nice grandma welcomes me and gives me vague advice, I don't know French wines (it's pretentious), and I think I choose a Californian Chardonnay myself... She offers me a corkscrew which I I haven't, made a mistake 3 times when paying by credit card... it makes us laugh. As I left I told him that I would come back one day.”

“A great fuel and snack stop in the middle of not much else in the way of gas and food/drinks. The owner lives on location and will come and answer questions. The clerk is helpful and the friendliest person you ever met. The store has all the essentials and a variety of brewery beers....most Excellent! Also located right next to the Post Office. I noticed the store also has a small stage for local talent to stop in and play on the weekends.”

“My wife loved the selection they have here. She was able to find something that she really enjoyed for our stay nearby, and the whole place had a good vibe. The owners were friendly, and everything was stocked. They even rotated bottles up to make emptying racks seem more full. Seriously, they put effort into this place, and it seemed like they had a lot of local options. I don't drink, but my wife does, and this place is worth a visit. I was just happy to see such a well maintained store compared to my local places where I get things for my wife. Great job to the owners on this place.”
