Pure Barre in Long Island City offers an empowering, full-body workout inspired by yoga, Pilates, and ballet. The classes feature low-impact, high-intensity movements designed for any fitness level. While challenging at first, students quickly feel stronger and more comfortable with the movement style. The studio provides multiple class formats, including Classic classes, known for their intense burn from small movements, and Define classes, which incorporate elements like deadlifts and rows. The instructors are amazing, experienced, and kind. They empower students with motivation and humor, offering helpful individual adjustments. The classes flow smoothly and quickly from block to block. The entire team, including all desk staff, is super kind, supportive, and encouraging, making everyone feel welcome, accomplished, and appreciated. The studio itself always feels very clean. Students love the structure, routine, and strong sense of community. Many find it a wonderful and fun alternative to a traditional gym, leading to exciting progress. The overall experience is highly recommended.
The instructors are all wonderful and supportive, and I am a full convert from classpass after experiencing how nice this studio in particular was at creating a sense of community. Cannot say enough positive things!

All the Pure Barre studios I’ve been to in the city are wonderful, but LIC is my home studio and everyone here is awesome. I love all the formats, I feel so welcome coming in, and all the instructors and desk staff are super kind.

This location always feels so clean, and the instructors are all very good. And Staff Caroline is very kind and sweet. Great experience. Highly recommend.
