They specialize in custom outfits, which is what really stood out to us. They show you a wide range of designs, and you can choose everything from the color to the type of work you want. They really bring your vision to life.
For my sherwani, I went with a simple design, but they added a lot of subtle sparkle that made it stand out without being over the top. For my wife’s dress, the pictures honestly do not do it justice. It was incredibly sparkly, the handwork was flawless, and it completely stood out. When she walked in, everyone was amazed. It truly looked like a princess dress and came out exactly how we wanted.
They also make sure the fit is right. I needed some adjustments on my sherwani to make it a bit looser, and they handled it without any issues. They take proper measurements and make sure everything fits well.
On top of all that, the pricing is unbeatable. For custom work of this quality, you would expect to pay much more elsewhere. The quality alone makes it worth it, and the pricing just makes the experience even better.
The customer service was excellent throughout the entire process. There is a reason we came back, and this is honestly the only store I trust for outfits like this. We are excited to see how our reception outfits turn out and will definitely be sharing pictures once we get them.

“I first learned about Dara Lamb and her atelier about 15 years ago from a journalist friend who arrived at a dinner wearing one of Dara's custom-made jackets. The fabric was heavenly and the fit so exquisite that I asked her who the designer was.
I have been hooked on Dara's clothing ever since! The jackets, dresses and slacks that she and her crew of patternmakers and seamstresses have designed for me now make up much of my wardrobe. And whenever I wear Dara Lamb garments, I always receive compliments. I have had strangers walk up to me in restaurants and on the street asking me who designed my clothing!
Dara's custom designs are timeless; pieces she made for me a dozen years ago still look as good as clothing she's made for me in the past year. I've worn her garments to work in a newsroom, to court when I covered trials, to social events, conferences, speaking engagements and to teach classes at a university.
The fabrics she offers come from the finest Italian mills.Whether it takes one, two or three fittings, nothing will leave her atelier that doesn't fit you perfectly!

“I've been frequenting this store with my mother for longer than I can remember. As far as i know this is the only place one can buy fresh puja leaves for religious functions. Of course they have taris, lotas, instruments- tablas, dholaks, dhantals, books.. but i go there for the fashion. They carry all sorts of traditional and modern style indian wear, even custom jora jamas. The store is always nicely decorated, especially for holidays.”

“I love this store. The customer service is okay specifically I asked a woman who was working there for something and she spoke so low was so rude. Shes medium toned had long hair black glasses and a hoodie. And she was glued to her phone. The people at the register were so nice these two young girls helped me out. Specifically speaking a slim tall girl also medium toned with long braids in a ponytail wearing like a black jacket with gold I've never seen her before so maybe she's new but she's fast at her job too. And the young girl who speaks Spanish with red and brown hair with long nails I feel bad I had her running around the store for an item but she was so nice about it. If anyone goes to QCM go to them at the register they are super nice. Other than that the store is still cool nice workers nice items.”

Omari in particular has been super engaging and makes sure you can find what you’re looking for. I’ve never felt rushed, and have a great experience every time I stop by. “Cute clothes at a decent price. The quality of the clothes and accessories aren't so great but it's decent for what you pay. The shoes are meh. They have a whole downstairs devoted to it. Their sizes go up to XL for clothing. They have some cute things. Special bling and other fancy things are kept behind the counter. They have staff that walk around and offer to help you find something if you'd like and the girl behind the counter at the register was really kind. Happy shops!”
