About Thrifty Car Rental
Thrifty Car Rental offers generally smooth and convenient service with clean, functional vehicles. Many customers appreciate the quick checkout process and the ability to skip lines by checking in online. Staff members are often friendly and helpful, especially when resolving issues like rebooking rentals or addressing billing concerns. However, there are occasional challenges, such as delays with electric cars and charging, and some staff interactions may lack friendliness. Customers have noted that rental availability can sometimes be limited, requiring adjustments or alternative options. Clear instructions for after-hours vehicle return are not always provided online, so customers recommend asking about this before leaving the lot. Some reservations, especially those involving prepaid or special deals, may lead to misunderstandings about insurance and charges, underscoring the importance of reviewing documents carefully. Overall, Thrifty Car Rental is a reliable choice for quick, straightforward rentals, with attentive staff willing to make things right when issues arise.

Normally when I rent from Thrifty it's a seamless experience.
On my current trip I picked up a vehicle that had clearly had someone smoking in the vehicle. I'd go so far as to say someone was chain-smoking. Thats how intense the smell was.
